Does Attar bring weapons or something, because that is the only way he can even make a dent in the 10 foot tall Wampa. Just think of a Polar Bear, but larger, no half gorilla/man could even come close to hurting it.

Iceman/Psylocke is going to run things for a while, I need a break and work has been busy enough I have been unable to really search for movie characters to use. Please treat him/her (heh heh) with the same respect as you have shown me. He can appoint someone else to post on a dialy basis if he chooses.

If things get too one sided in Achilles' favour I'll throw in TIGRIS of GAUL and the 3 TIGERS cwink as allies to Maximus:

I say Achilles. Maximus is a mere farmer-turned-soldier whilst Achilles is a warrior. I wager Achilles could probably easily take out Tigris and the 3 tigers. He's battled in the Trojan War and countless others. He's just too damn experienced to lose to the likes to Maximus, who, I recall, grew up fighting in amphitheaters? I haven't seen GLADIATOR for years, so perhaps my logic may or may not be flawed. But I'm going with Achilles on this one.

Plus, Achilles's sword looks sharper.

Actually Maximus was a conquering general for the Roman Empire having fought countless battle and trained millions of men. His experience far outweighs Achilles. In Troy Achilles was just getting his start, his name was only known in small circles. Watching Troy again last weekend his sword technique was horrible. The first time he tried his "jumping stab" move Maximus would have him bleeding in the dirt, fatally wounded.

Including my vote for Maximus, the current tally is 3-3.

Achilles is virtually capable of taking on armies singlehandedly but when he comes up against a worthy foe one on one (see Hector) the battle is a lot more even. Maximus has proved himself in one one one battles by defeating the very best of Rome's gladiators (including Tigris the previously undefeated veteran champion). Achilles main disadvantage is his recklessness which is something that could be exploited by the vastly experienced roman general.
