SpeedballLives said:that whole skill thing makes no sense. Of course the action would have been made different, and things would have been quickened to fit in a 2 hour time frame.(I've seen the game beat in 2 hours, but that guy was GOOD.) The story would of course not be the same, I would keep both Rebecca AND Barry alive in the end. Imagine the one small room scene with the ceiling coming down on film. That could be the best scene ever in a horror movie. The resident evil movies don't have the horror feel, you don't feel like they are in danger, even when some of them die, you don't feel sorry. Even Resident Evil 4, which is an Action game, has more suspense than the movies combined.
By the skill thing I mean that Alice can whoop some a** with her bare hands and not just shoot a gun at zombies. Now all the Resident Evil characters don't have fighting technique, they have guns and thats all. (Leon has some skill with his hands {sorry if that sounds wrong}). The games don't even scare people. The first one was the scary one, but the games are not that scary. Alright have you seen RE: Apocalypse? Remember that scene at the end where she kills that guy by just looking at the camera? She could just do that to Ash and be done with it. I'm not saying change the story, the story is good, I'm talking about (Alice having the karate moves.) I have had enough of movies where the only way you kill them is when you shoot them in the head, its better to have someone that can kill a zombie with there bare hands, and not just with a gun. Get me?
And I think that Barry is alive, at the end of Nemesis he's the one that picks Jill up in the helicopter.
