It does. I've been there so many times... each time is different but you start having flashbacks.

The main thing is to learn from the experience. Because no matter how things work out, at least you come away a better man.

I'm literally waiting for my gal to make a major life decision, which is when I'll find out if we have a future or not. And of course it's not the sort of thing that can be rushed. I got a little impatient the other day and got all worked up. I was thinking about the last time I was waiting and how I got screwed, but what I realized the other day is that this time is much different than last time - last time I was waiting for something to happen when there was no promise of any change. This time, with this girl, I know she's got a decision to make and I know she will make it at some point.

I wasted six years on a lesser being who had no decisions in mind; I can certainly give the current gal whatever time she needs to make a decision, knowing that there's actually one she's wrestling with. I've never had a situation that was easy. This was one up to a point. But this is also the realest relationship I've ever been in, the only gal I've ever really seen myself truly having a future with (more than just an obvious fantasy, you know?) and I'm willing to hang on through the rough times.

Especially when she seems to want me to.

I dunno, man. Don't know what to tell you advice-wise. I suck at it. I figure like the man said, you gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em...

i don't know right now. because there are litterally women who i could call up right now and 2 states away they'd come over. but i only really want to be with her. i don't even mean sexually, i just want to be near her, hear her laugh see, see her smile, and joke a little bit when she misunderstands something. but i rushed things, and shes got some problems she needs to deal with. i nevr cheated on her and she never did anything wrong to me, but it's tearing me up right now, because as much as i want to talk to her and tell ner how sorry i am, it'd only cause her pain and that's the last thing i'd ever want to do

Or not. I'm through feeling like a loser for now. The gal in my life is completely awesome, and she loves me, and she's a total perv, which is awesome.

So if I'm loved by a gal like that, how can I be a loser? Now her life may take her in a direction away from me. And if it does that'll suck. But that may not happen. She does love me. She does want me around. And I think in her heart she's on the same page I am. I think she just has to make her peace with some stuff first.

But I don't know anybody who doesn't have baggage. I got more baggage than the Totes warehouse.

And so do you. All of you. And if you don't it's just because you're new at life. You'll get there.

Well...you have a girl. We don't. We've lost ours in cheating or in death...and that's something hard to forget and move onto, but I understand we have to. What also makes it hard is that even though there are 'plenty of fish in the sea', we're far from the sea. We're in the desert. Alone.
