The Dark Knight The Iceberg Lounge

I was watching 'The Dark Knight' the other night and it hit me...The Gotham Times had a small ad for 'The Iceberg Lounge' in one of its issues. In the movie, there is a club scene where Batman goes to confront Maroni.

Is it possible that this club is, in fact, The Iceberg Lounge? (It seems to me that 'Iceberg Lounge' is a subtle reference to the Penguin.)

What are your thoughts?

yes, that is the iceberg lounge, it had been discussed during production.

i don't know if there was ever an iceberg lounge in the comics, but it does seem to be right up penguin's alley

I would've thought Mr. Freeze before the Penguin, but I guess either would work.

Whether it really the Iceberg Lounge or not I still pretend it is whenever I watch TDK. It makes that scene so much better thinking that it is.
