Be honest - have you ever been a rude customer?

I've never been a rude customer unless you count shoplifting .

I've honestly never been a rude customer. I've never understood taking out frustrations on someone else, so I never do it. I've gotten bad service before, but I tend to complain without going overboard. Sometimes it's a new person, so I have to level with them. Sometimes it's a unpleasant person in general, and I just don't give them a tip. There's no point in arguing with them, since it'll only serve to piss you off when you're not even mad in the first place.

I've never been a rude customer. In fact, I am frequently complemented on how polite I am. I've been that way my whole life, but after working as a cashier for two years, I go out of my way to be understanding. That is, if the cashier deserves it. If the cashier is rude, then they may very well get it back. There's really no reason for someone in retail to treat a customer poorly. It didn't matter how ****** of a day I was having, I'd never take it out on the customer.

I was a rude customer earlier at Subway

The woman was fat and her gut (and dirty shirt) kept touching my sub and I eventually just said 'YOUR SHIRT KEEPS RUBBING AGAINST MY SUB AND I AM NOT PAYING FOR IT' and then I walked out

My mommy says the exact same thing. And she's always right. :)

Ha! That's not what these four eyes have seen. You may act nice around here, but I'm onto to you missy.

Today actually... i went to the movies.. i bought a water and reeses and it came out to 8 freakin bucks.. 3 dollars total anywhere else..

i yelled at the guy and told him that water better be some kinda freakin miracle potion for fkn 5 bucks or i want my money back, i dont think he took me seriously.

Welcome to the the year 2009. **** is expensive at the movies.

Yeah and trust me I'm a reserved and calm person, so believe me when I say it takes a lot to drive me to rudeness. It's only ever happened once, and it was after repeated incidents of this guy asking me for ID. I didn't have ID the first time so politely walked away. Next time I brought ID with me and he just grunted. The next time I assumed since he had seen my ID already, I wouldn't have to bring it with me. He asks for the ID. I said I showed it to you last time. His response was aggresively denying it right down to the ground. See, it takes a lot to piss me off! :cmad: :csad:

Prof. Gates? :wow:

I'm very sympathetic to people working in retail, cause I know how it is and my philosophy in life anyways is to treat people with respect if they treat you with respect.

I hate it when they have a chin wag with a customer in the shop.

Yea be polite and all that, but don't have a full blown random conversation while you have a queue!!

I was late for work once because that happened at the train station. I didn't say nothing though, I was still half asleep :D

Nope, and I've never been rude to a customer.

Intentionally.

You and your damn colloquialisms.

True, but still.

God dammit I demand to know who this person is! :cmad: :csad:

He's a Harvard professor that got arrested outside of his home last week. I'm sure there is probably a thread that I would avoid on the matter, for there is probably some racial undertones there.

I...don't get it...what have I missed?

Catman chewed out a McDonalds employee and we were laughing him for it. Yes, his burger had a mold spot on the bun and he should have complained but he went a little over board.

Whether it was justified or not, whether you were having a really bad day and lashed out or the guy/girl behind the counter was an utter moron and you just couldn't take it anymore. Whatever the case may be, have you ever been a rude customer?
Nope. Never.

Just once. When moving from Florida to California we stopped for gas and went to use my credit card and it was denied. Used another filled up and hit the road. Called the automated info and had nearly 1000 available. Hung up and called again to speak to a human. After a few minutes of looking for the reason, i was told that Mobile gas put a stop on my Visa Card because i swiped the card more than once at the previous gas stop. I explained that the reader told me that it couldn't read the card and to re-swipe the card, which i did and it accepted it. But Mobile put the stop on my card and then i was told that Visa couldn't override the hold and i wouldn't be able to use the card from anytime from 3 days to a week. And that's when I exploded on the poor Pakistani/Indian on the other side of the line. The next month bill came in, paid it off and canceled the card. That was the only time i was rude.
