Bebop and Rocksteady???

According to the soundtrack listing there is a song called Bebop and Rocksteady. I thought they weren't including the characters into the movie?

Hm... why not? I mean, they two are mutants. Well, in the cartoon. Well, they AREN'T humans (well, for the most part). So, if this is a movie about monster invasion (like, an invasion of NON-human beings) why they can't be included in it in some monstrous but resembling to the original Bebop and Rocksteady form?

"Bebop V. Rocksteady" is just a song on the TMNT soundtrack by Cobra Starship...Bebop and Rocksteady will not be in the movie.

Yeah, Bebop & Rocksteady are not in the new movie, nor will they be in anything new of TMNT. Pete's leaving them in the old cartoon and to stay there, so if you want them, thats the only place you will ever find them(course cept for merchandise). And someone has mentioned that the song may be more referring to the music styles called bebop and rocksteady, but i have a feeling that stupid "group/band" Cobra Starship will have it mention the old mutants. I wish G.I. Joe would just shoot down that stupid Starship of Cobra's lmao.

Yah, it's been changed to "Aww Dip"...but I like how Gym Class Heroes is doing a song called "Shell Shock", haha...but, I don't know if there's anyother thread about the soundtrack, so here's a question...why are there only listings for the scores of "I Love Being A Turtle" and "Nigh****cher"...what about the main TMNT score, or a score for Karai/Foot Clan and for Max Winters and/or the monsters and the four "ancient" warriors?

Yeah but that "Shell Shock" tune sucks majorly, in fact the whole soundtrack overall does. only thing saving it is the 2 scores, but even the 2 scores cant make me buy the soundtrack. And theres no word on a Score Soundtrack cd comming out, but its not looking good either.

Have you heard it? Gym Class Heroes is a great band though, so I think I'll like the song...and if they have two scores, they should've put other scores on that CD or taken out the two scores and saved them for the actual SCORE soundtrack.

I'm a fan of Gym Class Heroes, Meg & Dia, Amber Pacific and This Providence, so I'm gonna have to disagree...even though Jet isn't a good band, old P.O.D. were pretty dang good.

I understand, i was just sayin, i think they suck. Mostly cause i cant stand that pop-rock/pop-punk/emo crap. And i like Jet cause they remind me of a modern AC/DC (least their first cd)

Agreed. There's plenty of villians they could have used like:
Krang
Dr. Stockman
The Rat King
etc.

Heck, they could have even used the Chrome Dome.

You guys gotta realize that this movie is NOT based on the old cartoon. It's based on the older movies, the comics, and slightly the new show, none of which Bebop, Rocksteady or Krang ever showed up in. Those characters only live in nostalgia now.
