Best Action Scene

Many of you have already seen this film so which action scene do you al think is the best?

Remember most of us still haven't seen the film so use spoiler tags or try describing things without spoiling.

I absolutely adore the action sequences of this film, so in a tight race, I'd give it to the invasion of Asgard sequence.

Great accompanying music, awesome visuals, amazing fantasy/ sci fi immersion...the sequence succeeds in building tension and showing us why the dark elves are a believable threat.

I find it really hard to pick one favorite. I have favorite moments spread out of several of them.

There's one more action sequence as well.

Hmm. The final battle is really, really creative, the invasion is genuinely exciting (Frigga is a BAMF) but I think the fight with Kurse (Malekith isn't involved much in this one) might take the cake.

Not as relentless as MoS but more creative and a lot less redundant IMO.

The Attack on Asgard and Thor vs the rock monster were the only memorable ones for me. pretty much forgotten the others.

I thought the final battle felt kind of feeble actually.

No leadup and no tension between the two, despite her killing his mother...

The only parts I liked were the few shots of Thor hitting Malekith at superspeed.

Asgard invasion by a mile. The elves felt like a serious threat there, especially when they come out of the ship.

glad to hear that. I really thought the entire look of MoS was amazing, it was just the over done destruction to buildings that killed it for me. I will still get the dvd tho

Lots of pretty crappy things get praised universally. Not to say the action in this was crappy.

For me it wasn't bad at all, just nothing memorable or as exciting as i was supposed to find it. Satisfactory would be my term.

Have you seen the movie in the 1st place? You pretty much have a big reaction if someone didn't like something in the movie. Nothing wrong with defending the movie that you like, but the thing is you haven't seen it yet.

Its not listed but Thor vs Kurse was the highlight for me, a really brutal fight and it was shocking to see Thor struggling with an opponent so much, though that may be being kind to Thor, he pretty much got pummelled throughout the fight.

It seemed so, Thor didnt even really get a hit in here. But, and this is a big BUT, he never got to use his hammer in the fight either, there is a great reason for that though [BLACKOUT] Thor calls it and Kurse backhands it away![/BLACKOUT].

And AVEITWITHJAMON, you're writing a lot of uncovered details about the fight in a thread that has no "spoiler" in the title. If I hadn't seen the movie I definitely wouldn't want someone telling me that [BLACKOUT]Thor didn't really get a hit in or that he isn't able to use Mjolnir.[/BLACKOUT]

My idea of "epic" is a hard fought battle between two opponents no one guy being plummeted without landing blows of his own.
