Which animated Wonder Woman is your favorite?

Dammit I forgot to add Superman/Batman: Apocalypse's Wonder Woman

Probably the DCAU version. Though, I love the incarnation seen in the 2009 movie.

Haha ganon51, I was about to say that was my choice lol. Well I´ll vote second best then.

I loved the 2009 movie, though I'd wish Ares and Hades would've looked like how they did in the DCAU

2009 Animated Movie or JL WAR (even though some of the voice casting is off, she's just so fun overall, and I love her new costume).

DCAU WW is super bland imo.

If you had then I could have taken references from that and discuss them, If I´d like. In addition to that I just wonder what you think about it, I for one loved it. I assume you like W W so that´s also why I asked.

I just don't like her relationship with Superman, but she's fine so far. My favourite artist of New 52-her has to be Cliff Chiang. But to be honest I know her mostly from animation :p I don't read too much comics

"The Paradise Lost" from Justice League season 1 is probably my favorite animated Wonder Woman story. But i like the Wonder Woman origin better in the 2009 movie

Okay. I love that relationship because it shows an interesting dynamic and man, those comics have great things going on and if you don´t like Diana intruding like that you can always take comfort her arms is broken by Doomy in the first or second of their duo comic. I get it tho, I was sceptical at first as well.

I´ve read all of her own comics in the new 52. They are great. I have yet someone to find that´s better. I´d say the only thing on par with those in terms of seen as a whole (and those aren´t just one title but many comming together), is the Forever Evil and Green Lantern rise of the third army events.

The reason I don't favour her to be with either Superman or Batman is because she's supposed to be the most iconic superheroine and one of the DC big three, she shouldn't need rely on the popularity of her other 2 teammates. I prefer her to be the leading partner in a relationship like with Steve Trevor :p

Haha okay. Make sense that´s your opinion, posting this thread and all. I mean stands to reason you´re WW fan.

Man, I agree with that totally. She is one of the big 3 and shouldn´t be involved with any of the other 2. Also, she is a woman that bows down to no man (it´s her thing lol) and it kinda feels strange now that Supes, her boyfriend, could overpower her, but he is good guy Supes, come on now. Also If you read the latest Superman & Wonder Woman issue you´d see they made sure she looked like an equal. It was actually she who saved the day. They are actually very careful with maintaining her thing. I´m telling you, give it a chance it´s actually an interesting comic + I like to see how it doesn´t really work out between them. It just confirms my opinion.

"Because there is really no reason for doing this other than to sell and for her to gain publicity" some fans get irritated and see it WW as an intruder. Lol, I know. Then there are others likes you who think she doesn´t even need publicity with the help from DC big 2. Honestly, it´s neither. They just want to explore new territory and make money. One must remember that the New 52 is young.

Diana´s run has been better than Action Comics which has been Supes latest best one. I haven´t had time to read Batman but I hear it´s pretty good, but Batman always is lol.

S/B:A has her best design and fight scenes for the character. Plus her characterization aint to shabby. So I would probably go with that one. Followed by her solo dtv.

Good choices. Superman & Wonder Woman vs The Sorceress of Time was really good too.

2009 Wonder Woman for sure.

She had a lot of heart which didn't always come through with the DCAU version (she had her moments, but most of the time she seemed too stuck on the whole "I'm the warrior of truth, I hate men and so on. I also liked that 2009 Wondy had a sense of humor. It made her dynamic with Steve a lot more fun than any dynamic the DCAU Wonder Woman had with her teammates.

I keep saying this, but they should really, REALLY consider using the 2009 Wonder Woman movie as the template for the live action solo WW movie. If they translated it line for line, shot for shot into live action and released it into theatres, it'd be able to contend with Man of Steel as far as popularity. It was so well done and did a good job on her origin.

my only problem with 2009 WW was the look of Ares. He looked so unbelievably bad. His appearance is the only weak link in that movie. Wtf were they thinking? Ares looks ****ing wicked in the comics

Yeah he could've looked better. But was it worse than the DCAU one?

Design-wise he was fine in the movie, but the voice was "eh".

I know a lot of people worship Alfred Molina and the ground he walks on, but he's yet to impress me. :-/
