The Winter Soldier Best captain america suit yet

Why would he need two suits in AoU? Just curious.

Made sense for TWS to have two suits... Whatever they do, I hope they stick with Red White and Blue from here on out.

Ah, yes, I suppose variety would be nice in that respect haha

I might be one of the few that thinks this but I'm not the biggest fan of the design of the suit for Cap in "AOU".

Not only does it look like a poor attempt (in some ways) of trying to mesh his WS outfit with his WW2 one, but there's just "too much" going on with it in terms of the linings.

I feel like his WS outfit is by far the best one in a modern day standard and that this WW2 one (from TFA) is the second best one.

Someone should make an image of all the Cap's suits side by side to each other:

USO ("War Bonds") suit
World War II ("Real") suit
S.H.I.E.L.D. Avengers suit
S.H.I.E.L.D. Stealth Suit
Winter Soldier Final Battle Suit
Age of Ultron Suit

I like the SHIELD suit the best. The one for AoU looks nice too.

I am with u on this. aou suit does looks good but it far from the best imo..it look too "busy" to me.

I think we should wait to see how it looks in official promo pics, trailers, and the actual movie before judging the AoU suit. I think it definitely has potential to be the best.

true!! I shall reserve my judgement till then.. suit tends to look better on screen as some of our friends in this forum pointed out

I wish people would stop using the Avengers one where Evans looks uncomfortable. It paints the perception of the suit.

But the last pic makes it seem like "Yep we're good everyone"

Clearly though Marvel felt the WS stealth suit was structurally the best and added back in the colors from there.

What I want to know is when are we going to see the scale armor? The metal scales on the upper torso have always been an iconic part of the uniform, and I don't see why they would be difficult to add and to make look cool.

I had a vision where Cap was able to lift Mjornir and it summoned a CA version of asgardian armor to him and that's how he got scale armor. LOL

I don't like the scale armor and hope we never see it. Visually, I find it very unappealing and logistically it makes little sense. It's basically based off chain male which might have made some sense decades ago but not with far better and more practical bullet and weapon proof material available. Especially not with Stark designing it.

Okay, in all seriousness, what do you have against the scale armor? It's a lot less cheesy than red underwear!

It's kind of archaic i guess. Armour was designed that way back in the day because it's all that they could do back then.

They don't really have that excuse now.

Although i would not mind more Eagle motifs in Cap's suit. I always saw the scale mail as feathers rather than fish scales like i've seen some suggest.

My favorite is still the first.

The "stealth" suit is really cool too.

The throwback suit in The Winter Soldier is a nice nod to the first film, but it looks either like it's made from cheaper materials or there wasn't as much work put into it, or maybe both. Maybe that's because it's not supposed to be Cap's original suit, rather just a replica for the museum, which begs the question of why he would bother putting it a replica suit which surely offered next to no protection. Oh well. It's not a bad suit, just not as good as the others...

...except the Avengers suit. Which is all around terrible. Seriously, that thing is barely a step above a Captain America Halloween costume.

The reason Cap went with the museum suit was more than likely to help jog Bucky's memory along of fighting alongside with him during World War II.
