What would you say is some of the best character intros in the history of film? What character entered their respective film in a style you'll never forget?

I'd say this easily is in the top 10:

Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark

Joker in the end of Batman Begins

Anton Chigurh in No Country for Old Men.

Jack Sparrow in all three pirates, but especially the first one
Indiana Jones in raiders. His entrance in Crusade is great too.
Batman in Batman Begins (for me seeing what it took to become Batman made this greater than Batman's entrance in Burton's film. In Batman 89 when he says "I'm Batman", I think "that's cool!" When He says "I'm Batman" in Begins, it makes me go "F**K YEAH!"

Agent Lee and Detective Carter of Rush Hour
Scorpion and Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat
Joker from B-89
Jack Sparrow

Blade - "Blade"
Wolverine - "X-Men"
Bullseye - "Daredevil"
Jay & Silent Bob - "Dogma"
Cherry Darling - "Planet Terror"
Cyrus - "The Warriors"
Trinity - "The Matrix"
The Operative - "Serenity"
Dr. Evil - "Austin Powers: IMoM"
Silver Surfer - "FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer"
Doughboy - "Boyz N the Hood"
Radio Raheem - "Do the Right Thing"
Everyone in Reservoir Dogs

I'd give it to Robocop. His whole introduction is a big tease. Your first look at his face is on a monitor that's recording him. Then you see his figure walking past the murky glass in the police station. Then behind his cage. Every cop in the building following him the whole time. Classic scene.

And I guess I'll be the one to throw up the obvious Nightcrawler intro. Still the best action sequence in the history of comic films for me.

Clerks- Dante rolls out of the closet where he slept

Mission Impossible- Ethan pulls the mask off

Terminator 2- Terminator shows up in a big energy ball than proceeds to biker bar

Bad Boys 2- Mike Lowry pulls the KKK sheet off

Nothing compares.

That wasn't his introduction though.

The one that immediately came to mind when i saw this thread title was Indy in Raiders, easily the #1 IMO.

Ahh, my bad. I got confused. My favorites are:

- Nightcrawler's attack on the White House in X2
- The diner scene in Reservoir Dogs
- Jules Winnfield and Vincent Vega's intro in Pulp Fiction

Nothing compares.

That was really badass. Gotta be number one. I also liked Buzz Lightyears intro in Toy Story and Keizer Sose's intro (as Kevin Spacey) in The Usual Suspects. Frank Drebbin's intro in The Naked Gun was great, too.

Darth Vader: episode 4
The joker: 89/bb
indiana jones :raiders
Boba fett: empire strikes back

Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca. Someone lays down the check, he signs his names, camera tilts up, and bam. Rick.

Matt Damon in The Bourne Identity , floating in the Mediterranean

Indy in Raiders is definetly up there

I also liked Stuntman Mike's intro in "death proof"
