Which comic adaption has the best score or soundtrack that fits the mood of the character or movie?

yeah for me it was between Supes and Conan, but the Superman has more of a way of giving you goose bumps when thinking about seeing the movie as a kid and what it did for you.

The Conan score is great too!!

You've summed it up perfectly. For me it was between Superman and Batman, but I think Superman wins it, because Batman Forever and Batman & Robin weren't done by Elfman, and it shows.

It's between Superman and Batman. John Williams' score was magical, heroic and epic. Danny Elfman's was dark, tragic, and poetic.

Nothing has really topped Superman yet. It is a call to heroism unlike any other superhero movie theme ever made. It's anthemic and uplifting. Batman is a really good one, but still depressing. The Spider-Man score starts off amazing but then takes a lame turn into Batman territory which doesn't fit the webslinger at all.

I think Batman's score is the most influential and the best concieved.

Superman's will always be the theme we remember when we think about the superhero, but Elfman's score is the more dramatic, emotional piece.

Also, Sin City's music captured the feel of the comics near perfectly.

Elfman's score to Batman. That score was so good, it was used in the animated series. It will be forever ingrained in my mind as the definitive Batman song.
