I still need to see Spider-Verse and Titans. Without considering them, Infinity War is a long way in the lead for me.

I am not really into animated movies so only saw the live action ones and enjoyed them all. But Infinity War was the clear best for me.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and it isn't even close. That movie is magic and nearly perfect. Brilliant writing, beautiful and groundbreaking animation, and perfect vocal casting. It is a gorgeous film that reinvents this genre and kind of exposes how creative you can still be with Marvel properties (ahem) while giving us easily the best version of Peter Parker we've ever seen in a movie and doing a superb job of introducing the world to Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen (both of whom I like better here than their comic book alternatives). It is also a wildly entertaining movie.

I've seen all those except Spider verse and Aquaman. But I seriously doubt they're going to challenge Infinity War - best MCU villain and action sequences.

I would've laughed if anyone told me I'd ever rank an animated Spider-man movie over an Avengers film. Well guess that happened.

Other than Venom these were all excellent films. Avengers and Black Panther stand out because they were the event movies of the year.

I think I would rank Aquaman over Deadpool 2. I just cared so little for what Deadpool was fighting for in trying to save Russell.

I can honestly say, the only film I didn't enjoy is Incredibles. Not sure why, but it just wasn't my cup of tea at all. The rest I had a great time with.

As the best year ever of CBMs ends, I still have Black Panther as my #2 all-time best CBM, and I hope it wins an Oscar.

Infinity War is on Netflix, in case you didn't know. I'm re-watching it now for the first time in a few months and it's only solidified my opinion that it's the best superhero movie of all time.
