Action Sequence of the year 2010: Nomination Thread

1) Hit Girl slaughtering Rasul's gang in his apartment - Kick Ass . You could nominate all her fight sequences but that scene was bad ass.

2) Disc Wars - Tron

3) The Hall way scene- Inception , especially the initial one and knowing what Levitt had to do to pull that scene off. It was one of the most amazing action sequences this year.


Runner up . Denzel Washington running across the train in Unstoppable , they kept the suspense the entire film.

5. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: Bass-off to the death with the twins.

Well, I for one haven't seen it, so that may explain it. But the main reason I haven't seen it is that Stallone's brand of action has rarely been something I've actually been impressed with, so there's a good chance it still wouldn't make my list even if I did.

Oh I totally understand the love for it though. And considering it defined the genre for over a decade, I'd say you're far from alone in that sentiment.

It's just never been my cup o' tea.

Well, I havent had the chance to watch Scott Pilgrim or Tron the last few nights, so will just give my nominations for now:

1) Kick-Ass: Hit Girl saves Kick-Ass and Big Daddy in the warehouse

2) Incepton: Hallway fight in zero gravity with Athur

3) A-Team: Escape after getting Murdock and following flying tank sequence, dont care what anyone said, I loved it!

4) Expendables: Final assault on the house/fortress

5) Bit of an obscure one, Solomon Kane: Final assault on castle and battle with 2 bad guys

Solomon Kane was an amazing film, for those that havent seen it go and watch it
