Clancy Brown
Gene Hackman is the best pre-crisis Luthor.
John Shea is the best post-crisis Luthor.
Shea was great, he was incredibly suave yet evil at the same time. He almost defeated Superman by sheer charisma.
Not really much like any comic version of Lex, really.
Of course, Kevin Spacey.
If my signature doesn't change, you will understand
The Hackman.
Kevin Roegele said:Some dislike the way Hackman's Luthor engaged in comedy antics with Otis, but when he became serious, he was chilling. "No - by causing the deaths of innocent people." No other Lex has been as convincingly genius, or as sinister. How about the way he coldly lets Miss Teschmacher know her mother is going to die? Just looks at his watch and shakes his head.
