Dark Knight isn’t even my favourite, I have several movies ahead of it but Superman the Movie is still the gold standard IMO.

This is tough. TDK remains one of my all time films, and all time cbm champion. For me it was more a process of deciding which films were NOT the best ( for some that was very easy, yes Suicide Squad I would b3 looking at you first).

In terms of which is the "best" I think this is different to which is my favorite. In all honesty my favorite is probably still Superman.

However, the "best" of all these films is probably Wonder Woman with Batman Begins a close second and Shazam being third because it's just such fun.

As far as quality goes I'd go with Batman Begins as well, but man did I get a lot of enjoyment of Aquaman when I saw it for the first time. As much as I love the Nolan trilogy no other DC film has come close as far as entertainment value goes with the exception of TDK of course.

The Dark Knight Rises slightly edges Batman Begins and V for Vendetta. Batman Returns follows, then '89, Joker and Superman the movie. These are the ones I like the most.

I'm a big Batman Begins fan. It's my favorite of the Nolan trilogy and one of the few comic book movies I can watch repeatedly all the way through.

Ultimately I have to go with Batman 1989. Nostalgia has a lot to do with it; that's a movie I grew up with. Yet in the years since The Dark Knight, I've re-evaluated the respective merits of Burton and Nolan.

I think Batman is better suited to being a fantastic character in the Burton style rather than the Nolan approach of gritty realism. After all, we're talking about a grown man who dresses as a bat. Burton's more theatrical approach seems suited to the material.

I voted Man of Steel, but on a different day, I'd probably say Batman Begins. Those are two films that I watch on a yearly basis, and they're equally enjoyable.

Batman 89 & Begins

Also enjoy Aquaman and Wonder Woman

Batman Begins as I love the fact that Bruce Wayne becoming Batman was the main focus of the film. Some would even argue that BB is better than TDK and I wouldn't blame them for thinking that.

Gotta go with Batman Begins on this one.

Honorable Mentions in order: Superman the Movie, The Dark Knight Rises, Wonder Woman and Joker.
