I thought this would make an interesting poll, what do you think is the best of what are considered the worst comic book movies? Out of all of the worst ones, or what people consider to be the worst ones, I think everyone of us has at least one or two that we like, I know I do, Superman Returns, Hulk and Spiderman 3 dont deserve to be on the poll at all IMO (but seeing as plenty of people seem to site them as one of if not the worst CB movies, I thought it only fair to include them). Also, I enjoyed the likes of Ghost Rider, Wolverine and the DD theatrical cut. I even find myself enjoying The Spirit more and more upon repeat viewing.

So, vote away ladies and menfolk, the poll is multiple choice so choose however many you like, I think it be interesting to see what the votes come out as.

Hulk by far. I love that movie.
Then Superman Returns. I used to hate Superman Returns but when I rewatch it I realize its not THAT bad. It could've been better though...a lot better but I'd just concider it a mediocre comic book movie, not a terrible one. I give it 7/10

The rest are pretty bad (FF movies are guilty pleasures but I know that they are bad movies.)

The Hulk is the best for sure. I still watch it every now and then, not the rest of them

Agreed.
For the last time, the 2003 Hulk is not a bad movie. And when you're high, Spawn is pretty beautiful.

^I think its one of the best CB movies personally, and I think opinions of it have slowly got better over the years, but plenty out there still consider it a really bad movie, hence its inclusion on the poll. Speaking from a personal point of view, there are about 4 or 5 movies that simply dont belong on the poll, but as others think they do, I had to include them.

Hulk, Superman Returns and Wolverine shouldn't be on the list.

Hulk and Punisher (2004) get my vote.

Hulk, Superman Returns and Wolverine shouldn't be on the list.

Yes they should be. Hulk and Superman Returns wasn't well-received by the fans and Wolverine wasn't well-received by anyone. Just because you like the movie doesn't change the facts. I happen to think that Hulk was a great movie, that doesn't mean it was considered a success. If it was there wouldn't have been a reboot.

Hulk by far. Its just a wonderful movie.

And while I'm at it Spawn and Batman Forever are pure 90's cheese so i can't help but love them.

I think opinions on Hulk today are a lot more positive than they were in 2003, people have given it a 2nd chance and actually found that they liked it, but plenty of people havent given it the 2nd chance and still consider it one of the worst CB movies. Thats why I had to put it on the poll.

IMHO, Superman Returns, Spiderman 3, Ghost Rider, Daredevil TC and Punisher (2004) dont deserve to be on the poll either, but personal opinions had to be put aside to be fair.

Superman Returns and Hulk.

But I don't pick them amongst "the worst." They're not bad movies at all.

The ones I like are Spider-Man 3, Punisher (2004) & Wolverine. Punisher is the only one I consider a good film though (haven't seen Hulk).

I'm apparently the only one so far putting a vote toward Warzone.
Really? I'm a bit surprised too that the 2004 movie got more.

This I totally agree with, both of them are in my top ten CB movies of all time, and I personally cant believe that people feel ill toward them, but unfortunately, they do.

VERY dissappointed that YOU included SR in this list, AVEITH..

Any way, my vote goes to SR, a fantastic film, imo.

The best of the worst from that particular list is Spider-Man 3. But TMNT 3 is always unfairly bashed, and the rest all have entertainment value.

If you really wanted to list the best of the worst, you should have used Captain America, the 89 The Punisher, the 94 Fantastic Four, the Justice League live action TV movie, the Generation X tv movie, the Dr. Strange tv movie.

from the list, in order of pref
1. Spidey 3
2. Daredevil theatrical
3. Xmen last stand
4. Wolverine origins
5. Hulk
6. FF ROTSS
7. Superman returns
8. Punisher tom jane
9. Superman 3
10. Fantastic Four
11. Blade trinity
12. LOEG
13. Batman and Robin
14. Ghost Rider
15. Elektra
16. Superman 4
17. spawn(i have only seen this once many years ago, the clown gave me a sore head)
18. Catwoman

haven't seen the spirit, punisher war zone or the others

****. I did the voting the wrong way. I voted the WORST of the WORST. No the best. Yay for me.

The good stuff out of this bunch?

I Like Very Much
Superman Returns, The Punisher

Is OK
Punisher: War Zone

Kinda OK, But Still Bad
Daredevil, Blade: Trinity, Hulk

It's been too long since I've seen Superman 3-4, TMNT 3 and Spawn, so I can't really say anything about them. I just remember them all being no good.

Hulk for sure. But Superman Returns, Punisher(2004) and Spider-Man 3 all sort of fall into the category of films that really tried to be good, yet just weren't. I'd add Watchmen to that list. Fans may have liked it but the general audience hated it. Why else did it not even double it's opening weekend? Most other films on this list sucked because they were just phoning it in.

Many people (foolishly IMO) DO consider it one of the worst CB movies though MP, no point putting personal bias into a poll like this. Both SR and Hulk are in my top 10 CB movies personally, yet both are on there, because enough people dislike them to warrant their inclusion.

I wouldnt say Watchmen belongs on the list because fans loved it, it wasnt a case of the GA hating it, judging from the BO returns, it was more a case of the GA not going to see it.

Hulk, Daredevil DC, Wolverine and Spawn.

Hulk is a great movie, I prefer it to the new one.

Daredevil I really don't understand the hate for it. It's amazing that people overlook the fact that in essence, Daredevil was one of THE most accurate origin stories of any comic book character brought to film. Why is that fact overlooked? I wonder...might be to do with it being a Fox production and it stars Affleck and Farrel? People who let their hate for a studio or a particular actor cloud their judgment should be shot.

Wolverine was definitely flawed, and should of been soooo much better considering the cast and crew involved. But it isn't a abomination to cinema or comic book movies. It pisses all over the likes of the FFs, Elektra and co, so shouldn't be put into the same bracket as them.

Spawn was brilliant back in the day. A adult comic book film. And the SFX might not hold up today, but back then, they were pretty stunning, especially the cape effects.

When you can't double your opening weekend, that is a clear cut sign of bad WOM on the part of the GA. Even Wolverine and AngHulk managed to get past a 2.0 multiplier, and those were very much hated.

Those were also summertime movies. Watchmen was a summer movie released in the beginning of march, it was a dumb time to release it and it would've opened much bigger if it was a summer movie. I'm not saying the movie wouldn't have dropped off, but it would've had had more money raked in by the second weekend and would've had more business during the weekdays

Hmm, not sure I buy that argument. DD & GR also were released in the dead of winter, had relatively large openings, poor GA WOM and both managed to get past a 2.0 multiplier. The R-rated argument(I'm being preimptive here) also doesn't fly due to 300's success.
