Since the "3rd installment" thread became such a joke, let's even it up a little.

Tough call but I gotta go with X2 over Spider-Man 2 and Superman II. Although, they will all be surpassed by the Batman Begins sequel.

You're speculating.
No, it's fact. The last Dodo told me before he died.

You missed Aliens AND Terminator 2! ;)

But seriously, X2, Spidey 2, Returns, all great sequels.

From those choices ... Spider-man 2 then a tie between X2 & Supes' 2

I have to go with X2. Batman Returns is a great sequel (maybe better than B'89), but even though X2 doesn't surpass the first, it's the better film between that and Returns.

I agree. The untitled Batman Begins sequel will blow them all out of the water.

That's the spirit.

Superman II, then Spider-man 2, Batman Returns, X2 and Blade II

Superman 2.

"Kneel before Zod" is far more iconic than anything from Spider-man 2 or X2.

A few weeks ago i would have X2, but X3 has done the impossible and made me like X2 lessm X3 was so dire it could actually do that, but now i say Spidey 2

At Least More Than 2 Movies Are Getting Votes Here.

Spider-Man 2 is one of the most-improved sequels ever. It's leaps and bounds ahead of the original movie.

X2: X-Men United is great, but lacks the focus of the original and ends up as too broad.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II-The Secret of the Ooze is crap really. Amusing I suppose, but the original tried to be a proper movie, whereas the sequel is pure cartoon.

The Crow: City of Angels is almost unwatchable. It's missing a lot of material though, important scenes were cut out.

Superman II is great. I've always been of the opinion that Donner's Superman II would be the best superhero/comicbook movie ever.

Blade II is a terrific 'what if?' almost parallel universe version of the original.

Batman Returns is Tim Burton at his peak. Just amazing.

Men In Black II. You know, given the fuss made about the original, it's amazing how little people talk about MIIB. Nobody in the entire world has mentioned it since 2002.

Son Of The Mask. I haven't seen this, so I can't actually say that it's bollocks. But I'm going to guess that it is.

I know you were just trying to make the list thorough, but Son of the Mask? If that gets picked, it's either an accident or a joke.

I liked X2: X-Men United, but i liked Spider-Man 2 more.

Spider-Man 2.

What!! no one has voted for Son of the Mask yet?
