I feel like we've seen the same movie a bunch of times this year. A team of super soldiers take on a corrupt government or government agency

-The Losers (based on a comic book)
-The A-Team (based on loved the show)
-Red (a bunch of unexpected stars in an action film and based on a comic book)
-The Expendables (favorite action stars teaming together)

Which one do you think was the best? I have to say the A-Team

The Expendables is probably the best one of the bunch.

I think The Losers is the weakest one. While it's fun, it's just so lightweight and forgettable.

I feel that Predators should be added to the list.

Is predators about a team of super soldiers taking on a corrupt government?

God forbid that damn Predator government decides to take your house away and hold you hostage.

:o

:o

Let us both pray it never come's to this. :csad:

Either way, it was just a suggestion. Me and my friends went to see all of the films on this list barring Red, and we figured Predators is part of the same contingent. There all basically about mercenaries fighting a superior force. But if you guy's think differently, no problem. :yay:

The Expendables by far is the best action movie of the year and it isn't even close.

No other movie this year has come close to the badassery of the Expendables as far as action scenes that involve fights and gunfire. And yes that includes Iron Man 2, Inception, A-Team, Predators, etc.

The Expendables wasnt good until the end. The editing was crappy and the hand to hand fight scenes were meh

to be fair..I haven't seen the A-TEAM!

I did like Mickey's character in The Expandables but I thought that Stallone's directing was iffy at times. I swear, he does the most random shots sometimes, or the continuity in some of the editing. Plus the fight scenes were hard to watch..

I voted A-Team . One of the best team movies ever.

The Losers was alright

I never got to see Red

The Expendables had some moments but it didn't seem like we saw enough of them working together

I voted for The A-Team. The Losers and The Expendables were both right there for second. Good but not great. I still have yet to see red.

I haven't seen Red but from the ones I've seen I voted for The A Team.

I should vote The A-Team, but the Sly/Arnie/Bruce scene makes The Expendables the winner for me.

Co-signed.

Now that's an action movie! And it counts in that two characters teamed up at the end to take down a mobster. And it was an action movie whose real hero was more badass than all the testosterone (and likely steroid) filled characters of all those other listed action movies combined...an 11-year-old girl.

Hit-Girl for the win.

I think people allow themselves to get too caught up in the cast of The Expendables. When you sit back and evaluate it as a movie, even as a brainless action throwback, it doesn't hold up as well as The A-Team.

Expendables by far the best. Followed by Losers, that was fun stuff. I didn't quite like the A Team... but it wasn't terrible by any means. I liked the four of them except BA Baracus

The A-Team was head and shoulders above the rest. I was laughing during the expendables.

I cant decide between A-Team and Expendables at the moment, I liked The Losers a lot but it doesnt compare to those two, had no desire to see Red. LOVED both The A-Team and Expendables but would have to watch the latter again before deciding, AT is out in front at the moment though.

If you read the OP you'll see that Kick Ass doesnt fit the criteria

the A-Team was fantastic...but i'm gonna have to take it old school and say Expendables.
