I've looked through the forums for any thread related to this, so I guess this is it. We've gone over how good the story/script, the acting, directing, and music is -- but what about the more visual and practical aspects of the production?
What have been the technical aspects that stand out and enhance TDK as a movie overall? I'm referring to technical crew like Wally Pfister, Lee Smith, Lindy Hemming, model work supervisors, set decoration, production design, visual effects, sound work?
I really think Pfister and Smith's contributions really help accentuate the mood and rhythm of the film overall. Pfister's cinematography looks more beautifully gritty (although I prefer the more earthy tones of BB myself) and Smith's work on each and every scene is wonderfully timed and picked.
