What villain in the franchise do you think had the best look?

I'm going to have to say Venom. They changed his look and adapted it without doing much. Giving it a twisted version of Spidey's suit was great, and they kept the classic spider.

If it weren't for Venom, I'd say Doc Ock.

Doc Ock by a million miles:

He is so badass looking. I have that poster in my room.

while the poster is good

ock was topless under that overcoat, comic ock had far more class than to go out bare chested wearing drabs.

marks goes to sandman. comic book accurate all the way in.

all other characters had some alterations to their looks. sandy was a pure costume translation.

He wasn't always topless under it:

that's just another coat...

double coating desn't make you anyless topless.

Sandman would have to be the best villain costume from comic-to-screen. It looks exactly like the comics.

The funniest thing about Ock double-coating is that he ruined TWO nice coats.

it would have been great if spidey called him a double coated squid

Gotta go with Venom. I'm not being biased either. I love how they added the webs to Venom symbiote suit and gave him a more leaner look.
Ock would be second. Thank God he wasn't wearing his green and yellow armor! lol

Ock would've been a badass if he was wearing that white suit of his. The one he wore when he handed Banner his ass.

There's not a darn thing wrong with Ock's costume. He looked totally badass.

I didn't say there was, I just love his white suit.

I go with Doc Ock cause he probably looked better in the movie for me, and the tentacles are marvelous.

I really dig Venom's appearance too. In terms of it being a movie instead of a comic, the look they went with was the right way to go, and the added webbing made him a little freakier looking.

The thread title is incoherent with the poll's question. Title asks which villain was best transitioned to the movie universe. I take that as a "which villain didn't receive the most changes". It's Sandman, obviously.

But the poll says "Best villain redesign". I'd say Doc Ock. He always looked like a goofy nerd in the comics ('cept for when he wore those sexy tuxedos), giving him just a big overcoat, not only did it seem more natural but it also gave him a much more shady, menancing look. More badass.

Just what I was thinking.

i like eddie/venom's the most..then sandman, then ock with my least as the 2 goblins.and i have a [sort of] fan-made eddie borck suit [not venom, the suit where he's in the church]

Aww, no Goblin love?:cwink:
I actually liked Norman's mask.

My favorite is Venom and then Doc Ock.
