Hey so far from what I am seeing,
Raimi is really hookin it up with the costumes. I mean, I can say, this or that could be better in my opinion- but he's really hooked up the costumes pretty amazingly, and very respectful to the comics.

At first I had a problem with the black costume in the movie. But looking at it in action in the trailer. I really think that's the best Black Costume you could have. Cause if you think about it the original black costume wouldnt work as well on screen, and would come out very plain and bland. I think it would still look cool, I might be wrong, but maybe this black costume would be something that plays better on screen.

The Green Goblin costume was not as good as it could have been, and I would take his reasoning that the other Goblin Costume which would have been SUPER COOOL, was too expensive to have in the movie. So, they settled for the Power Ranger.

I like the Spiderman costume. Almost exactly the same as the comic

Doctor Octopus is pretty damn cool. I like his look, its not alot to work with. A man with the tentacles. Which I think are cooler then the comics. But it's still very respectable to the original.

I love the Sandman look, and they made him SUPER POWERFUL in this movie!!! I really love how the Sandman looks

I believe that the Harry Osborn suit is a prototype, I think they are keeping the new Goblin a secret. So, we still havent seen the goblin.

Venom, we dont know. I hope he continues to bat a 1000! I really hope cause next to Spiderman- Venom is the most important character to get right!!

Lets keep our fingers crossed!!!!!!!!! OMG PLEASE! I hope Church is right, when he said Venom looks like the Comic book, and we wont be dissapointed!!!!

well i agree, expect one thing i didnt like was green goblin...i saw some fan art that was better than what they came up with, and i really hope that the goblin costume in the next movie is not what was in the trailer

I dont think we should be quick to judge Harry's costume. Maybe you could say its a waste of screen time to show a villain in a prototype suit, but that's apart of the story. Maybe it just raises the viewers/ fans anticipation of when we DO see the new Goblin.
So, we'll see! Lets see the purple and green guy! Or better yet, the prototype Goblin from part one that never made it to the movie! The one that would have cost too much CGI money and never got used!

ORRR is there a NED LEEDS in this movie? And he threw a pumpkin bomb at Harry and took over all of Greenies ammunition and supplies to become the Hobgoblin?!?!!?

The first GG costume bothers me a bit but I like the rest of the costumes. I'm digging Harry's costume too. And what more can you say about Doc Ock and Sandman? They look great. Spidey's costume is simply the best superhero costume ever.

Spidey, Doc Ock and Sandman are by far the best looking characters so far in this series.

The Goblin's costumes are garbage. I can't believe Harry's is actually worse than Norman's. I didn't think that would be possible. But they pulled it off.

Well it looks like a prototype suit.

You know the black costume looses some points though cause they dont have the white patches at the back of his hand.... I mean, they should have tried to add as much features of the black costume as possible. I understand the webbing but dont mess with the Spiderlogo, and the patches on the back.

I bet if they checked it out, they would see that the Black Symbiote design sells great in stores, as t-shirts and Sweaters and hoodies. It has a cult following cause its so bad ass!! It's the most bad ass design out there more then Wolverine and anyone.

So, why change it so much? Like I said, I understand why Raimi added the webbing, cause maybe he felt that without the webbing, the costume doesn't look good live action on screen. He filled the costume up. But dont change the Iconagraphy of it though. I dont agree with that.

I think he's really tried to avoid villains with awkward costumes. He has the goblins, which, give him credit, are very hard to tackle. But besides them he added silver to the spidey suit, had Doc Ock who wore a trenchcoat, and then Sandman who wears civilian clothes but he's not exactly at the top of people's favourite spidey villains list.

only thing i didnt like about spideys movie costume were the eyes. they looked to mean looking. he kinda looks menacing not friendly neighborhood.
they should be rounded up top and bigger. they made them smaller in the second movie and 3rd one, then the first movies costume.

Yeah I'd like them to go down the ultimate road and have him shoot tendrils. It just seems kind of stupid that the symbiote would be able to shoot webbing too.

i forgot venom shot webs. i remember from the carnage video game he shot the symbiot ooze and swong from it. and used it to wrap around peoples heads to suffocate them and slam there heads to the ground.
