Told you.

Venom did. :hehe:

Honestly, I'm really torn between Ock and GG.

You guys may not believe this, but I voted for Ock. Venom is my absolute favorite, yes, but as I've mentioned many times,he was screwed over in part 3 and wasn't really given either great development or screentime. Molina's Ock ranks up there with Ledger's Joker as the best comic book villains I've seen on screen.
Hopefully though, one day Venom will have his day. :yay:

I hope so. :)

Have you seen Venom: Truth in Journalism?

I have, and thought it was brilliant. That little short film came closer to who Eddie Brock is than Spider-man 3 ever did. I can't remember that actors name who played Eddie(I know he's in True Blood),but I could easily see him portray the character in a major film.

Dock Ock > Green Goblin > New Goblin > Sandman > Venom

Sandman shouldn't have been Ben's killer, but the only villain i would consider weak was Venom, Harry was more threatening out of the suit, that was where he truly shined.

Most of Harry's scenes when he was a villain were out of the suit anyway. So it worked good.

I've been rewatching the cafe scene in Spider-Man 2. I just love way Doc Ock smiles at MJ before taking her. It's just so devious and compelling. It's a small scene yeah, but damn it works.

I love that scene and Ock's line,"Find him. Or I'll peel the flesh off her bones." Without a doubt the most threatening/gruesome line ever uttered in a Spidey film.

Doc Rock lol. Funny typo :oldrazz:

Yeah I love the evil smile he gives MJ just before he grabs her. He was just oozing menace in that whole scene.

I like how he punctuated that line by snapping his tentacle claw after he said it.

So lemme ask you guys this. What did you think of Doc Rock's outfit? I generally likes the tench cost and sunglasses. But the fact he wore no shirt was a little jarring. I know he was basically homeless and only cared about rebuilding his machine. But I would have preferred if his outfit remained the way it was during the bank heist.

If you watch the movie again, apart from the cafe scene, he does look like he does in the bank for the whole movie. The cafe is really the only scene where his bare chest is fully exposed. Even that didn't bother me. He still looked bad ass. The trenchcoat looked so cool. The comics even started using it because it was that good.

I guess I'll have to rewatch it. Been a long time, time to get reacquainted. :D

One of the things I liked about Doc Ock was that he was a bit overweight. So many villians and heroes almost always have six-pack abs and great physical looks. Ock proved that you don't have to look like a supermodel to have super powers. Btw,that was by no means a shot at Alfred Molina. lol

Molina would be the first to tell you that he isn't a physical specimen, but I respect him greatly for getting into the shape he did for SM2. He looked more defined and thicker in his limbs than he usually does. While Ock mainly relies on his tentacles for combat, the movie version looked like the man himself was no push-over if he had to add a few extra punches or balance himself on his legs alone to use all of the tentacles at once.

Dose any one notice that the % is off on this poll? If you add the % of all the different options it = 127%.

Can you blame them?

I'd lose my mind keeping track of this place after a while as well :funny:

lol well as long as we can see the numbers of who is winning that is what matters. Dr Octopus is number 1.

Lol yeah it was just something I noticed no big deal. Yeah Octopus was really great though. Best villain in a CBM out side of joker in dark knight.
