Injured. Tore a couple of important ligaments in her knee apparently and had major surgery. I think it was said it will still be several months before she comes back. Even then, I don't know what they'll do with her since they were pushing her as a face when that happened.

She'll come back and dethrone a heel Nattie Diva's champ to the roar of chirping crickets.

If they push Roode all the way to the title it will be the best thing theey have done sine AJ's heel title run IMO. Roode as the total package if booked right, are the crowd behind him?

I see, I wasn't sure if Hogan had healed enough to actually wrestle, that should be an awful match with poor Sting having to try and carry the most broken down guy in the company to big main event hyped match.

I agree with you on the fact they should do Angle vs RVD if the show is in Philly as they will crap on this Crimson guy. I personally think RVD has mostly phoned it in, in TNA but Philly is his old stomping ground and Angle has the respect of the harsh crowds, it's the only thing that makes sense....so TNA will almost certainly throw Crimson to the lions.

:funny: No I wasn't hoping for it, with Hogan barely able to walk and Sting doing that goofy Joker gimmick I can see a Hogan/Warrior Halloween Havoc 98 proportion disaster. :(.

I really like Roode and I'm all for him getting a singles push, but I think his parnter James Storm has the better long term potential and has that something extra that Roode lacks.

Hogan's surgeries were said to be a success so it's just a matter if he can take a bump, but I fully expect him to do very little, even by Hogan standards, in the match. I think the Philly crowd is going to crap all over Sting vs. Hogan. That is just a bad bad match to make in 2011, particularly in Philly. As you said, I can see this match being Warrior/Hogan 98 bad. I hate to see that with my boy Sting.

RVD certainly has phoned in most of his performances during his run in TNA, but when he has someone in there whom he respects and will push him, he does very well. Angle is just the guy to do that given that he pushes everybody he works with.

Putting Crimson in the main event, while I respect that, is just a horrible idea. He has not gotten over with the crowd and despite booking him to be undefeated and making him look strong. He is not Goldberg in any way shape or form and hoping to make him as such is a failure. TNA would have been wise to have booked Roode into the BFG main event spot. They even had a good set up for it with Roode's injury angle. I'm shocked they did not go with him.

TNA should have an awesome farm system, but instead it's just awful. Rob Terry, Jesse Neal, Crimson, Gunner and Murphy, Anarquia (or whoever that green dude with Hernandez is)...these are guys who just arent ready. Crimson of course is getting the massive Goldberg push...but he's terrible and doesnt even look intimidating. In my opinion, this is a push that Matt Morgan should have gotten. Morgan is charismatic and can work the mic, is more intimidating than Crimson, and despite mostly using the already established "big man" moves, he has a presence in the ring.

To be honest, I'd take most of the last few years WWE cuts over TNA's farm system guys...

Fair enough.

It's sad though, because I can imagine Teddy working if he had charisma.

I really was hoping the "next generation" of stars idea would work out. Only person that's really done something is Cody Rhodes. Hart Dynasty was coming close but bad booking and bad utilization stopped them from going anywhere.

Mike McGuillicutty and Ted DiBiase Jr? Well...definitely showing that charisma isn't a genetic trait.

And just as a reference if anyone remembers..."THE GENESIS OF MCGUILLICUTTY!"

:funny::csad:

McGuillicutty would have been taken more seriously if he did not have that ******ed name given to him by the ******s.

Smackdown was pretty good. Loved the DB and Kidd match. Who is that new chick? The music was sort of lame.

The problem is TNA is using Team 3D's school as their farm system, and I'm sorry but nothing good has come out of their school from what I've seen. I'm actually shocked because 3D actually have great minds for the business, particularly Bubba. You'd think they'd push better talent TNA's way.

IMO, a guy who is technically a TNA homegrown talent that shows huge promise in Brutus Magnus. I never thought I'd say that about the guy but he is someone who has made a lot of strides and is still very young (only 23 I believe). He has a great look and has natural charisma. His promo and ring skills have improved considerably. That is a guy they should be trying to push out of their young stars.

Morgan is someone I'd like to see get pushed, but he has to learn how to work like a big man and a monster and he needs someone to reign him in on his promos. For a guy who has a lot of positives's he also has a lot of flaws. He needs a guy like a Paul Heyman who can book him to his strengths.

You hit the nail on the head about Crimson.

''From now...From this moment on...This will be the moment, starting now'' hahaha

I know right? Hilariously bad.

Far from the Perfect Promo...

Well, NO ONE in TNA is really ready...and that is mostly due to the way they run their business. Even guys who were gold in WWE come off as more amateurish and green in TNA...I think they just dont properly prepare for the production...guys dont seem to know their cues etc.

I do like Magnus a bit. I thought that London Brawling had A LOT of potential.

And Team 3D's academy is obviously not working for TNA. They should be pulling the best indy talent in the country, robbing ROH etc...not putting green guys that they like hanging out with in the ring to hurt people.

Well he's an idiot. He coudl have chosen his mother's maiden name, which I don't think was McGullicuty.

It is been reported that the reason Joe Hennig is using the "Michael McGillicutty" name in the company is because the "McGillicutty" last name is actually his mother's maiden name and Hennig wants to honor that side of his family.

That was his reasoning...

However, his mothers was actually born Leonice Leonard (which... sounds like a cool wrestling name itself, lol) so no one knows where "McGillicutty" name actually came from. My bet? Joe thought it sounded "cool" or something...

I swear the BEST person to come from the WWE and look great in TNA? Like...seriously awesome?

Gail Kim.

Michael McGillicutty should of kept his fathers name. The Rock and Orton are doing pretty fine for themselves.

The man has no charisma. After the split with Legacy he was booked fine but the audience gave him no heat. He's average in the ring but nothing causes him to stand out. And he's not that good on the microphone.

Cody Rhodes was always the better talent and it shows in him taking that "Dashing" gimmick and making something out of it. He was the standout in Legacy too.

Ted is the ultimate cure for insomnia.

Which makes him an idiot. If he had chosen the name Michael Leonard, it would have made sense since that was his mother's maiden name.

I also thought it was ******ed that the WWE had Husky Harris and yet acknowledged that his father was Mike Rotunda. What's worse is that his mother's maiden name is Windham (as in Barry Windham, who is his uncle). Pure ******ness.

maybe these guys dont want to trade on their parents name....they want to make it or fail on their own? that ever occur to anyone?

Worked for Brian Christopher.....wait....

- Former WWE Divas Candice Michelle and Lilian Garcia were spotted on TMZ TV Wednesday. The two were at a red carpet event in Los Angeles.

- Jim Ross wrote on Twitter that the new CM Punk t-shirt is WWE's hottest selling shirt in years. Punk told everyone on Twitter that's ordered his new shirt to be patient because lots of orders are coming in.

- As noted yesterday, a WWE Title match between Rey Mysterio and the winner of SummerSlam's CM Punk vs. John Cena match is being advertised for the RAW in San Diego, the night after SummerSlam. WWE's website has a new storyline interview with Mysterio talking about the title shot from his hometown. Rey said he is demanding his rematch for the August 15th RAW.
