yeah that storyline really proved that Miz belonged with the elites

It is sad.

I thought Too Much/Too Cool was a good mid-card act.

That wasn't Miz' storyline. Michael Cole was the one who brought Brian back, leading up to their Wrestlemania feud.

Smackdown was pretty good. Loved the DB and Kidd match. Who is that new chick? The music was sort of lame.

Are you talking about Aksana, who was in the backstage segment with Teddy, or AJ, who has terrible entrance music?

Metallo... the US Champion is Dolph.

Ironically, you say he'd make a good champion, but he's obviously not doing much with the belt he does have if you don't even know he has the belt.

Yeah, I was referring to Aksana and that music they were playing in the backgroud as she talked to Teddy. Worse than playing eerie music when Kane walked during his fued with Taker.

Hmm, wasn't really paying attention to the music. Was more drawn to the drastic change in her looks from when we last saw her.

I didn't watch NXT, so when she appeared on Smackdown I had no idea who she was.

The mid-card titles don't mean jack because WWE doesn't make them seem important.

Youre a day late and a dollar short because I already found out Dolph is US champ. More of your selective reading I guess :whatever:

Have you ever considered the fact that maybe I haven't watched every part of every Raw lately and thought he may have dropped it?

Its not Zigglers fault WWE is giving him unimpressive opponents or storylines so your line of reasoning makes no sense...or do you think Dolph chooses that stuff for himself?

he's still a better US champion than the Miz...whose most memorable thing with the belt was losing it to Bret Hart :oldrazz:

Apparently Nell thinks Ziggler has control over all that.

I thought Miz' most memorable U.S Champ moment was when Bryan made Miz his ***** at Night of Champions.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that top WWE star Rey Mysterio appeared to have injured his knee during his match against Alberto Del Rio at last night's WWE Raw house show event, which was held in Salt Lake City. Mysterio was reportedly seen limping to the back following the match, however there is no word on his current injury status.

WWE has house show events today and tomorrow, so more details should be revealed behind Mysterio's condition, and whether or not he will be ready to go for Raw Monday night.

The first time he got smacked around by Jerry Lawler was pretty entertaining. I'm sensing a pattern here...

Rey sure has had bad knees in the last few years huh?

Still, Melina's firing was all kinds of make me happy I forgot all others things I wanted to say.

:argh:

The man has no charisma. After the split with Legacy he was booked fine but the audience gave him no heat. He's average in the ring but nothing causes him to stand out. And he's not that good on the microphone.

Cody Rhodes was always the better talent and it shows in him taking that "Dashing" gimmick and making something out of it. He was the standout in Legacy too.

Giving him his father's gimmick was a mistake as it's one of the most iconic characters in WWE history, plus his father was a great worker and talker.

Then they gave him Maryse who made him look like a chump, in the angle he should have been using her as a piece of ass and been dominant to get him over as a dick, but apparently he was scared to barely look at her due to his wife, so in the end he looked a mug.

Injured. Tore a couple of important ligaments in her knee apparently and had major surgery. I think it was said it will still be several months before she comes back. Even then, I don't know what they'll do with her since they were pushing her as a face when that happened.

I see, shame as I think she improved quite a lot.

I really like Roode and I'm all for him getting a singles push, but I think his parnter James Storm has the better long term potential and has that something extra that Roode lacks.

I've always seen Storm as Billy Gunn 2.0, potential as a mid card act but nothing more.

Hogan's surgeries were said to be a success so it's just a matter if he can take a bump, but I fully expect him to do very little, even by Hogan standards, in the match. I think the Philly crowd is going to crap all over Sting vs. Hogan. That is just a bad bad match to make in 2011, particularly in Philly. As you said, I can see this match being Warrior/Hogan 98 bad. I hate to see that with my boy Sting.

I'm surprised Hogan and Sting are going to allow themselves to be put in the position given they are both smart enough to know the crowd will be all over them. The match shouldn't be happening at all in 2011 but if they are going to do it they need to do it in the Impact zone or in a more forgiving city like LA.

RVD certainly has phoned in most of his performances during his run in TNA, but when he has someone in there whom he respects and will push him, he does very well. Angle is just the guy to do that given that he pushes everybody he works with.

Agreed, and if RVD tries to phone it in Kurt will just start shooting on him. :woot:

Putting Crimson in the main event, while I respect that, is just a horrible idea. He has not gotten over with the crowd and despite booking him to be undefeated and making him look strong. He is not Goldberg in any way shape or form and hoping to make him as such is a failure. TNA would have been wise to have booked Roode into the BFG main event spot. They even had a good set up for it with Roode's injury angle. I'm shocked they did not go with him.

I've not seen much of Crimson but from what I did see he looks as green as Mason Ryan and certainly not ready for a PPV main event. Goldberg could cover any weaknesses intially because he has such an awesome and fearsome look.

Morgan is someone I'd like to see get pushed, but he has to learn how to work like a big man and a monster and he needs someone to reign him in on his promos. For a guy who has a lot of positives's he also has a lot of flaws. He needs a guy like a Paul Heyman who can book him to his strengths..

This, always this with Morgan.

It is been reported that the reason Joe Hennig is using the "Michael McGillicutty" name in the company is because the "McGillicutty" last name is actually his mother's maiden name and Hennig wants to honor that side of his family.

That was his reasoning...

However, his mothers was actually born Leonice Leonard (which... sounds like a cool wrestling name itself, lol) so no one knows where "McGillicutty" name actually came from. My bet? Joe thought it sounded "cool" or something...

I just keep thinking he must have had a thing for Beulah back in the ECW days.

- As noted yesterday, a WWE Title match between Rey Mysterio and the winner of SummerSlam's CM Punk vs. John Cena match is being advertised for the RAW in San Diego, the night after SummerSlam. WWE's website has a new storyline interview with Mysterio talking about the title shot from his hometown. Rey said he is demanding his rematch for the August 15th RAW.

Well at least this has been addressed, Rey took it all way too well.

miz was the last best champ thats for sure atleast he had feuds and ppv matches and was able to cut good promos
