someone mentioned that triple h took a shot at tna in the promo from last nights raw. anyone know which point they are referencing to? saw the promo again and i'm not sure what that poster was talking about.
I forget what he said exactly but it was something along the lines of how without the WWE universe he had no one to listen to him.
I have liked Ryder since his ECW days....he was just never really given time to shine...so gave himself the time to shine through YT and its paid offI agree 100%
I seriously feel like his popularity comes from the fact that he's the intertwebz sensation. It's "cool" to like Ryder. His gimmick is awful, he's nothing special in the ring, but I give him credit for the way he did get himself over via the internet, even if I don't think he should be over in the least bit.
Colt working the tapings makes me wonder plenty of things. Does CM Punk have a ton of pull now? Will the Kings of Wrestling be brought in sooner or later, will they keep their names?
There's a picture of Colt working the bout on my site if anyone wants to see it.
I don't know if he's got a ton of pull, but he's certainly got some. I read the reason Ryder is on TV is because Punk requested it. Now he's getting Colt back in. His girlfriend got a big push last night. They seem to be bending over backwards to make Punk happy and the show is better off for it so far.
So basically it means a year from now all the smarks who used to be Punk fans will be complaining about Punk burying everybody, and using backstage politics, and putting his ego before the industry.
He should defend it as well. It would be along the lines of the Million Dollar title and the FTW title.
There's never been a top guy who didn't use his influence somewhat. What makes problems is when they use their power and it makes the show worse. Punk won't be burying anybody. Beth on top of the Diva division is a gigantic improvement. People have been dying to see Ryder on TV. Colt is a talented dude that deserves another shot.

If Bret likes Austin so much then why did he crap on his character and complain about fans cheering him in Wrestling with Shadows?
Happening now... Seriously, the IWC (which.. I guess we're all a tiny bit apart of) will love a guy and the MOMENT other people start to like him they turn on him instantly.
That's why even thought I'm a "smark" I don't think I'd ever like being a full fledged IWC member.
This thread, even when people get "uptight" is full of some of the most intelligent and mature group of wrestling fans I've ever talked with. It's not a "chore" to talk wrestling here.
i have seen Davey he is a good wrestler but the man lack in ring psychology big time and he no sells as bad as cena maybe worseKevin's thoughts on CM Punk claiming to be the 'best in the World': "I love CM Punk. I never met him personally, but when I meet him I will shake his hand and tell him how much I appreciate his talents. But Punk wears a shirt on TV saying he's 'the best in the World'. Well he's not the best in the world until he defeats Davey Richards. Davey Richards is the best wrestler in the World hands down! You could put the Miz at #1 in the PWI 500...and then burn that magazine for printing that. Davey Richards is the best in the World and I defy anybody to argue with me on that. Watch the match with Eddie Edwards. It was a 36-minute perfect match. Not one flaw. He trained for 4-weeks for that match - like a fighter. He's revolutionizing the business right before our very eyes."
