When I saw him long matches on ECW, Ryder showed off his wrestling talent.

Ryder is pretty good.. I mean, dude hasn't got enough time in the ring to really showcase his skills unless you watched ECW....Which not many people did. Putting him up against Michael Cole isn't the BEST way to show his talent.

Raw scored a 3.3 in ratings, up from last week... Good. This story or the "Reality Era" keeps going strong and the ratings with go through the roof in 6 months.

While I will admit, that some women just like Cena for his body, their are many others who like the guy because well they like the guy. You can't put every single into one group. Those girls who like Cena just because he looks good are a small minority. Raw doesn't have 1 million female viewers just because the wrestlers look good. Also why should a fan in WWE care about Daniel Bryant just because their into wrestling. Maybe they like Cena's brand of wrestling. Your thinking too hard. People like Cena because he's Cena. Nobodies better for liking a wrestler for anything.

I seriously feel like his popularity comes from the fact that he's the intertwebz sensation. It's "cool" to like Ryder. His gimmick is awful, he's nothing special in the ring, but I give him credit for the way he did get himself over via the internet, even if I don't think he should be over in the least bit.

I have liked Ryder since his ECW days....he was just never really given time to shine...so gave himself the time to shine through YT and its paid off

Colt is funny as hell. I watched this promo of his on youtube where he talked about feeling like a man in a boy's world since coming back to the independents. Then he's interrupted by his mom and his dad is like "Stop embarrassing him!" or something like that.

I don't know if he's got a ton of pull, but he's certainly got some. I read the reason Ryder is on TV is because Punk requested it. Now he's getting Colt back in. His girlfriend got a big push last night. They seem to be bending over backwards to make Punk happy and the show is better off for it so far.

There's never been a top guy who didn't use his influence somewhat. What makes problems is when they use their power and it makes the show worse. Punk won't be burying anybody. Beth on top of the Diva division is a gigantic improvement. People have been dying to see Ryder on TV. Colt is a talented dude that deserves another shot.

If he was forcing ''talents'' like Mason Ryan and the Alicia Fox into the spotlight while squashing someone like Ziggler, it'd be a problem... but he's not.

Politics can be used effectively. Politics got us the Attitude Era when Shawn used his power to tell Vince "this is the direction we need to go in" and started letting himself and HHH get away with murder with the DX stuff, and when Bret pushed to work with Austin and used his influence to give Steve a money making big feud.

He should defend it as well. It would be along the lines of the Million Dollar title and the FTW title.

10 years ago it would have been a joke but in this day in age I'd easily accept The Internet title on the same level as the old NWA/WCW TV titles.

I mean...why not? Considering how many fans participate in WWE stuff alone through online means, watch WWE shows and ppv's online (whether its legally or otherwise), and how much content WWE puts online compared to even a few years ago its not that big of a stretch.

Been a long time since I saw that movie, but maybe he was just pissy at the time since he was leaving and having problems with the company? I read his book and he said he enjoyed working with Austin a lot if I recall correctly. The problem may just be Bret is/was more of a squeaky clean type guy and didn't like the edgy adult oriented evolution of the product. Doesn't mean he doesn't like Austin as a performer or person.

That's why even thought I'm a "smark" I don't think I'd ever like being a full fledged IWC member. This is the first wrestling "forum" I've discussed wrestling in... well.. For a very loooong time. I used to post on 411 back when they were JUST 411Wrestling and only focused on wrestling.

i have seen Davey he is a good wrestler but the man lack in ring psychology big time and he no sells as bad as cena maybe worse

his matches consist of him stiffing a guy for 30 minutes and he kicks out of like 10 finishers he comes across as a guy who thinks wrestling is real and tries to make it like it is mma by legit hitting guys really hard.
