LOL Gail Kim:
On Gail Kim's twitter @gailkimITSME the last couple days she's been responding to people questioning what happened in the Divas battle royal where she just dropped to the mat and rolled out of the ring immediately out of nowhere. And she admits to doing just that on purpose saying she was "just checking 2 see if any1 was paying attention".Asked if anyone did she said, "haha no, no one did. Sad right? Verrrrry amusing".

When someone called her "unprofessional" and "her own biggest mark" her response was "oh and also on the contrary, I wasn't being a mark 4 myself I was being a good employee when ur told to get out of the ring in less than a min.I just did it the fastest way possible:)so really I saved some time!"

When someone commented that the women's division in WWE sucks but to stick around a little longer she responded "do u think it will change?" When the same person said it was a shame WWE doesn't respect true women wrestlers with talent her response was "Yes it is a shame I agree. I know it's a man's world but the women are just as important!"
She also tweeted "Nooooo I'm not doing my best to get fired."

"I'll make you famous."

Bring back the american badass!

I can't picture Taker retiring as the American Badass. The Deadman character is one of the most iconic, famous things in all of wrestling. He only spent 4 out of 20 years as the badass. Sure they were quality years and I enjoyed it, but there's no way he should retire as anything but the Deadman.

I know

I just like the badass better, because he cut promos and sold moves.

I definitely liked the badass gimmick more, but he needs to retire as the Deadman

Triple H, when heel, is as hated as they come, and would be a pretty decent foil to establish Punk as the new top face of the company, rivaling Cena/Orton. I like the way you think Hunter.

 Triple H has always preferred being a heel from what I've read, and this angle with him and Punk cries out for him to have a heel turn but with a difference, he'll be a Mr McMahon that can wrestle, they may even run an angle that he got Vince shoved out by manipulating the board.

...I'm not sure I want Morrison anywhere near the title until he learns how to talk..

I just needed a transitional face champ and it would be a way to test JoMo out with a one month reign, but Rey could just as easily fill the role.

I like this idea.

I don't know if I see WWE taking the WWE Championship out of the Rock v. Cena match since they've already hyped it so much as a title match.

Not that I think that match needs to be a title match.

They've not mentioned that part of the angle for some time, hopefully they have realized it's pointless and stupid and will drop it.

Does anyone have the gif of Stone Cold laughing and then getting serious? I need to put it alongside this fishburne one

This. The American Badass is the most overrated era of Taker, probably followed by ministry Taker. the American badass was only cool when he first popped up (and still had subtle characteristics of the deadman), and in 02 when he went heel.

I feel The Deadman is a better character. The aura, entrance, etc is just more, as you said, iconic. The past few WM matches wouldnt have felt as epic if he were the american badass. The Deadman character, for me, represents whats great about the kayfabe aspect of pro wrestling.

Eh, I'm all for Taker retiring as an extension of himself. ABA is just that... As far as I'm concerned the "Deadman" was buried after WrestleMania... a fitting end to that part of him.

Plus... he'll have short hair when he returns. "The Deadman" wouldn't work with that... I wouldn't be shocked if he returns as a "hired bounty hunter". Triple H hires him to take out Punk, they have a match at Mania Streak vs World Title... Punk wins, ends the streak and Punk becomes the only man in WWE history to win over Taker at Mania.

No way in hell Vince puts Punk over that big. He still sees Cena as the man.

If they have Punk vs. HHH run its course before WM, I'd be all for Punk going after the streak, but I still think if they let Triple H hold off on his heel turn and let it build for a long long time before they start fighting Triple H and Punk is the big match to cement Punk as a top face.

People would be torn over who to cheer with Punk and Taker. I think people would be more ready to boo a Mr. McMahon inspired evil boss Triple H, and with the whole crowd behind him it would do more to put over Punk as the new rebellious face of a new era.

If/when Triple H does turn full heel, it would be a new twist on the boss vs. rebel face storyline. Vince and Bischoff were always great in that role, but this would be the first time I can think of where the boss is actually a bad ass who can take matters into his own hands.

For the first time it wouldn't just be the boss sending other wrestlers against someone. The boss would actually be able to believably get in the ring and pose a threat to the star he's trying to take down. Triple H has always shined more as a heel than he did as a face. When you combine the power of being in charge with the sadistic Cerebral Assassin character it would be the perfect obstacle for someone like Punk to overcome on his way to becoming the top face in the company.

I think it might be cool if at first Triple H is sending people after Punk and after Punk takes them all out he gets fed up and decides to take him down himself. It'll basically be the wrestling equivalent of an action movie.

If the Punk momentum continues, then beating Taker at Mania would make him THE face of the company. Vince loves Cena too much for that to happen.

Yeah, I didn't mean Triple H should jump right into the ring right away, but he makes a much bigger threat for Punk to overcome than any of the previous evil boss characters ever did. People knew the second Austin got Vince in the ring, Vince was going to get killed. This time around there's doubt since the boss can actually kick ass himself.

Your action movie comparison works. I personally like to think of it as a video game. Triple H is the final boss. Punk takes down everyone else but then there's an "oh ****" moment when Triple H finally takes out his sledgehammer and has had enough, and takes matters into his own hands after his subordinates fail to get the job done.

I wouldn't completely rule it out. Vince never wanted Austin to be the face of his company but eventually gave in when he saw the money to be made. Punk can win Vince over the same way. My only worry is that no matter how over and popular Punk is, there's going to be strong backlash against whoever breaks the streak. I'm not sure it can be done by a face without them turning heel in the process. I'd rather Punk do something that will solidify the audience behind him instead of splitting his support in half like breaking the streak might.

Taker's heel run as Biker Taker and then the feud with Brock as a face in the biker gimmick at the end of 2002 is the only time I've really been a fan,

This will happen around the same time I have a threesome with Kate Beckinsale and Scarlett Johanson.

I agree, it's kind of like Alec Trevelyan in Goldeneye, he gave Bond a main bad guy that could take him on physically, no big henchman needed, Triple H is 006 to Vince's Blofeld.

I didn't mind The American Badass. It showed that he was great on the mic and it was nice to actually see him sell during matches. My only gripe with 3 year period was The Undertaker still calling himself that. Hard to take him seriously with that name when he's riding around on a fu**ing motorcycle!

Re: The Wrestler Formerly Known As Flex Cavana

I'll also admit I was one of the few Rocky Maivia fans. Had he debuted in the early 90s instead, he would've been a star right off the bat as he would've connected with the fans just like Ricky Steamboat. When The Rock turned heel again by becoming The Corporate Champion, he vent his frustrations by reminding the fans about the classless "Die! Rocky! Die!" chants (something he made sure never to forget), it made his first WWF Championship win all the more great!

Triple H could also be seen as the one person who could take CM Punk on mentally. Cena doesn't really do the whole mind games thing, he picks things up and puts them down but with hustle, loyaltly and respect.
