Better villain: Thanos (Josh Brolin) vs Cable (Josh Brolin)

Judging by the whole package: the acting, the writing, the appearance,etc.

This thread is kind of for humor rather than serious discussion. I figured that my use of language would make it obvious. I used the same phrasing as the other thread

Motivation has no use if it doesn't inspire or entertain me. I think he's the most overrated villain since... ever, I guess? I can't think of many overrated villains.

I mean, Cable isn't really a villain, so Thanos wins if we're strictly talking about villainy.

As for who was the better antagonist? I'd still have to go with Thanos, as his character was more developed.

However, I feel like Brolin fits Cable absolutely perfectly, whereas his Thanos isn't quite how I pictured the character when I used to read the comics. That isn't a big deal; he did a good job with him, but I can't help but want to see an absolutely CRAZY, evil Thanos like the one who used to fight the Silver Surfer all the time. Meanwhile, Brolin's Cable (personality and looks-wise) was pretty much what I always pictured with that character. So I would say he fits Cable better in that regard.

But since the poll is for the better villain, I voted for "Thanks."

I think Thanos' motivation was just as valid as Killmonger, and he executed them better than Killmonger. He had the combo of motivation, AND spectacle.

Thanos is definitely the best villain in the MCU but (IMHO) Killmonger is number 2 and I include Loki.

You're entitled to your opinion, but it's a villain comparison. You can't compare Cable to Killmonger because Cable isn't a villain. He's an antagonist at first who becomes good later. A more proper comparison would be Winter Soldier, not Killmonger.
