I am glad they are bring back Faltermeyer for this but there was part of me that liked what Nile Rodgers did for BH3 I actually liked his take on 'axel f'.

I'm thinking of the last time I enjoyed Eddie as well. Shrek?

The director and writers attached to it certainly don't help either, but I'm curious.

Dolemite Is My Name is a really good movie with a great performance by Murphy.

It’s maybe the first time he felt truly checked in since… Dreamgirls, maybe?

I’m really hoping he puts some of that here.

I don’t have a lot of faith in this. I love Eddie but it’s obvious his fame and wealth have taken the edge off, which is what made the first couple of movies good. The same thing happened to Coming 2 America.

Omg i couldnt even finish Coming 2 America. One of the most disappointing sequels ever made IMO.

I could end up somewhat enjoying this but it looks cheap and netflixey. It can't be worse than 3, can it?

I’m happy to see these characters again but the comedy is what made the original great, not the action

The teaser actually looks good. Movie is looking better than I expected. Nice to see a lot of the old crew pop up, especially Bronson Pinchot as Serge lol

Okay that was a pretty great trailer. Based off that teaser it already looks better than Beverely Hills Cop 3 which I know ain't saying much but I'm actually really surprised by how good this looks.

Love seeing the old crew back too.

Why did they change the title to Axel F?

I think the trailer could've benefitted from more comedic bits. I'm hoping that this is good, but yeah, it looks like a Netflix movie. Nice to see Eddie Murphy again though.

I gotta say , I thought it was funny, and I grinned the whole way through.

I'm a child of the 80s of who loved the film when it came out, and I remember how big a hit it was .

My family even had the vinyl soundtrack to the first film with all those great songs on it.

In the era before superhero cinematic universes, we had buddy cop comedy and action films of the 80s, and Beverly Hills Cop was one of the best.
