Seriously after reading this story I was going "Boy, Clinton kicks ass!"

See, this is what I'm talking about. Hippie_Hunter is right wing. His opinions lean to the right mostly. And yet, he can listen to reason. Like the rest of us, he can see that Clinton defended himself very well.

I watched it and didn't think Clinton 'smacked down' Chris Wallace. I though Clinton looked like a lunatic. No one was accusing him of being responsible for 9/11, yet he responded as if that is what was being said. Most people are in agreement that there were mistakes and missteps made by multiple parties (in multiple administrations.).

Even Mara Liasson was taken aback at Clinton's tirade. Liasson remarked that she was surprised at how visceral his reaction was considering the question, which was, in her mind, a legitimate news question. Even Juan Williams didn't have anything to say in Clinton's defense... which is pretty rare.

Furthermore, this neo-con, right-wing conspiracy that he keeps asserting is against him just makes him more seem foolish, to my mind. Logically, why would they bother? There are far more 'potent' targets for any such a conspiracy. Clinton's over. He's peaked. He's not going to be holding office. He's not really part of the DNC leadership. All that's left is his 'legacy', and any reasonable neocon schemer would be far more worried about someone who was actually a threat to them maintaining power now, not worried about tarnishing Clinton's legacy.

He really just looked like a nut-case to me, and that's not something I would have said about Clinton prior to this.

Beyond that, we're talking Chris Wallace here, not Bill O'Riley. Wallace is hardly a neo-con mouthpiece.

I went to the link. So let me ask you...what would be so hard about showing the actual video clip of the actual statement. Smells fishy to me.
