Woman Meets with Cops to Discuss Filing Charges Against Bill Cosby

Chloe G0ins, a model whose accusations against Bill Cosby could be the first to fall within California's statute of limitations, reportedly met with LAPD officers Wednesday to discuss filing criminal charges against the television star.

Goins claims Cosby took her to the Playboy Mansion in 2008, where he allegedly drugged and assaulted her. In previous interviews, she's said she awoke to Cosby sucking on her toes.

FOX reports she spent two hours meeting with detectives, but she may not have a case.

Goins hasn't publicly confirmed the nature of the assault, which would determine whether her allegation is prosecutable, but she said in December she doesn't believe she was "raped or molested," which could doom her case.

In California, prosecutors have ten years to file rape charges, but the state's legal definition of rape requires penetration. The six-year statute of limitations for the lesser offense of sexual battery reportedly ran this summer.

The women not getting a rape kit accusation is almost as offensive as "she was asking for it."

Most women don't even report rapes because it's so traumatic and those who do report it rarely get rape kits made because it's intrusive and also traumatic, like reliving the incident that JUST happened.

Now add on the fact that it's a MAJOR celebrity, BILL COSBY, an entire generations' tv dad and it's not hard to believe they didn't come out and say something right away.

Now add on that they were drugged and maybe thought/hoped it was just some bad dream and it becomes even easier to believe why they didn't speak out about it.

I was raped fourteen years ago. I never reported it. I didn't get a rape kit. I didn't get tested for anything until four years ago. There is nothing unusual or strange about any of the actions these women have taken.

But they can take back control of their own bodies by looking after their own health and the health of their future loved ones, i.e husband, wife, sons, daughters by making sure their horrendous experience does not have addition consequences i.e transmitting something to someone else unknowingly.

But I will still say that you lack any understanding on what rape does to a person.

For some reason, every time someone says stuff like this, it makes me think that the person believes rape is a sort of mildly unpleasant sex that wasn't consented to, and that it's not That Big A Deal. (Except in how the victim behaved before hand, what they were wearing, where they went with their rapist, what they did after the rape, and why they didn't behave like a person who'd merely had a bad day)
