To be honest, I've never heard of Michelle Ryan before.

BTW we can't see your linked pics, Electrix.

She's very famous in the UK as Zoe Slater in EastEnders. There has to be loads of youtube videos of her around.

Interesting, I wonder if that will effect the character of Jamie Summers. I hope theres no accent.

Oh god, not Michelle Ryan....

we'll see how she does when she is in mansfield park with billie piper later this year

She's a terrible actress. This show won't get past a pilot episode.

Well being American i have no idea who she is, or that show so I will be able to watch with a open mind. I grew up with this show and really really liked it. Im willing to give it a chance..

I too was a big fan of the show growing up and haven't a bloody clue who this chick is.

The Bionic woman is really the only old show that I can still watch today. Loved it as a kid. Although the producers RARELY took advantage of Lindsay's looks she was quite beautiful. The same cannot be said for Michelle Ryan who really looks very plain jane.

I used to love this show as a kid, and am glad they're bringing it back, as long as they update it. I also think Michelle is a good actress and a great choice for the role, and IMHO a stunner, certainly no plain jane. Hope the show makes it beyond the pilot and we can actually get to see it in the UK.

Is it going to be an update of the old show with a new Jamie Summers or a all new show with new characters?

I loved the old Bionic Woman and Six Million Dollar Man shows when I was a kid. They are some of the best shows from the 70s. :yay:

i'm not sure about the characters name i think unless we read on the hype or from entetainmen news shows the heroines name will be the traditional jamie sommers

Have faith!
Battlestar Galactica is proof a show can be remade well.

Ok, that's it I'm watching this show now.
