It would be like a normal Bioware RPG, but.....

BASED ON KUNG FU!

Set in the old west (that alone makes it different), loosely based on the 3 seasons of Kung Fu.

It wouldn't be a "Good or bad" thing, because Caine is always good, but more like a philosophy thing.

With badass combat and different stances....Tiger! Crane! Snake! Mantis! Dragon!

Badass, this game would kick ass.

Make it

Hmm.. sounds too close to JE for them to actually oblige.. :(

Sorry man.

My JE character is named Kwai Chang Caine :(

This idea kicks ass, sorry.

It's a cool idea on paper I guess.. but I dunno how that would work.

And, like I said.. it might just be a little bit too close to JE for them to actually consider. Maybe you should try another trusted RPG maker?

Squaresoft would make Caine fly and shoot heavenly lightning beams from his fingers :(

Umm.. how about Bethesda? They're probably good enough to make a Kung Fu-oriented RPG.

They also aren't working on other projects at this point. :)

Maybe?
I think Bioware would be better for this, though :(

Probably.. Bethesda is better for open-end totally western RPGs. :(

Um, wait until JE2 and ME are done?

I wouldn't mind a fantasy western :o

Deadwood meets Conan the Barbarian :o

You either want Jade Empire or Shenmue, depending on how much fantasy you want over Kung Fu. Bioware has more important projects :(

But a game based on Kwai Chang Caine's adventures is like the most important thing ever.
It comes before world peace.

Ugh, you all suck, goodbye.

Who the heck is Kwai Chang Caine anyways?

Fictional television character, played by David Carradine as an adult and Rad Pera as the young Caine, in the western television series Kung Fu. Caine is a Shaolin monk of henan province China. He is forced to immigrate to the United States when he kills the emperor's nephew. The nephew murdered Caine's Master Po because Master Po disciplined one of his bodyguards. During his time in the USA Caine discovers members of his family, including his half-brother Daniel Caine.

Caine is a Master In Shaolin KungFu. This school contained various arts in real chinese history, but the styles known to the character are following:
  • White Crane
  • Dragon
  • Tiger
  • Snake
  • Mantis
  • Eagle Claw
In additon to lessons in physical combat and weapons, he was also instructed in eastern philosophy and medicine. Upon his graduation to rank as a Shaolin Master Caine branded himself by moving a cauldron of hot coal containing the figures of a dragon and of a tiger.
Caine's character is humble, intelligent, inquisitive, and in general low key. His only known past time is the playing of a bamboo flute.

Short version = More badass than Tom Fisher, Metal Snake, that guy with the whip, Link, Metroid chick, Master Cheese, and all those silly "badass" characters.

I thought this would be about an Arrested Development RPG :(
