This flick really showed people how funny Robbie really is. When she was on the scene at first everybody just had her viewed as just a hot Aussie chick and nothing more but she's funny as hell.

i lol’ed at “I know this guy”, the acupuncture conversation Ewen and Margot were funny as, and Margot picking the baseball bat over other lethal weapons, and the way she was stabbing half paralyzed was hilarious too

Frankly, putting Harley in Gunn's hands should be a concern to fans of the character...

One thing I have noticed, with Birds of Prey and Charlie's Angels, the directors doing a good job of portraying the feelings of certain situations women find themselves in.

I think WB will force TSS to be pg13 and it will make way more possibly GOTG numbers with Margot, Idris, various cameos and Gunn’s name on it and then the loud battle between hardcore feminists and male idiots are gonna commence again in Twitter, lol.pretty tiresome. It will prob start as soon as Margot’s outfit is revealed

The rating isn't the issue. It is more that Gunn isn't good with female characters.

So this movie ended with Cassandra Cain breaking away with Harley, who gets recaptured (??) for TSS next year.

What was the plan for Cassandra Cain? I doubt there will be any mention of her in TSS, maybe she was meant to be picked up by Barbara in the Batgirl movie? Which, who knows if that is still happening. Probably won't hear anything until after The Batman and TSS next year.

I really really liked it, 8/10. I dont think nonlinear storytelling works for such a simple plot, and some of the choices remided me of suicide squad (monroe sequence), which im still recovering from. Cass was.... wrong imo.
BUT, acting was great, humor was fantastic, canary and huntress were both amazing, and so were zsasz and black mask. Really happy with it overall.

It’s so weird to me. People are actually going out to see this movie yet it’s flopping, but when Aquaman dropped literally no one I knew went to go see it, but it ends up making a billion.

I mean she burst on the scene with Wolf of Wall Street. She always was seen as talented...also very hot. Maybe not funny, but she has been a respected actress since her breakthrough

Yeah it's weird to me. To this day I have yet to meet an actual person who has seen Aquaman in theaters. Or Jurassic World 2. Or Spider-Man FFH. But that's anecdotal and obviously they were very successful

...really liked it. Black Mask was awesome, wish he didn’t die. Cass was the biggest weak link, but I loved her from NML into her comic, then into Bruce Wayne: Murderer? arc.

Just wish there were more nods on the jail lock-up; umbrellas, question marks, etc.

And, they shy’d away from mentioning Bullock or Gordon.

Easily the best action since MOS.

I thought the police station action sequence was easily the standout of the film. Y’all overhyped the 3rd act set piece for me and it was....good but i ain't think it was GREAT. Not MOS level, Aquaman level or BvS warehouse scene level.

The police station scene was fun, but that got a little silly. All these trained cops and not one of em could fire one lucky shot against her? But still it was fun.

Sidebar, but I think Huntress in this movie could kick MCU Hawkeye’s ass.

Yep, she’s been highly regarded since she broke through, and getting more and more props as she makes more quality films. Her comedy ability has really been proven here and I wasn’t sure she could do it this well after the first outing in Suicide Squad with this character.

Margot was so much better in Birds of Prey compared to Suicide Squad and The Legend of Tarzan.
