People jumping to conclusions after one trailer. The other characters will get their time in the next trailer.

And you know this how? We’ve had a trailer and two teasers so far, all of which have focused on Harley. And then there the poster and her name being in the title. But yeah, we’re all just jumping to conclusions.

The so called first teaser was shot just when the movie officially started shooting, it was made to announce that they were making this movie. So, I wouldn't call it as movie teaser.

Yeah, that's what I'm referring to. It wasn't much but it was still something and it focused more on Harley than the other characters. And look, I get it... Harley is the most popular character here and Robbie is a producer and arguably the biggest name in the film. But from everything we've seen, it looks at best like the scenario the X-Men movies had with Wolverine, in which one character is the central focus and the others are mostly there to back them up.

I hate to say guys, the trailer for this did nothing for me. I hated Suicide Squad, and this just looks like it took everything bad about that movie and dialed it to 11. I actually liked Harley in that movie and she was one of the few things I found tolerable about it, but here the entire trailer is just focused on her and everyone else does little to nothing that leaves an impression. Ewan McGregor has barely any dialogue and I couldn't tell you anything about any of the other Birds of Prey in this movie based on this trailer.

Suffice to say my interest is low

I didn't really have a problem with Suicide Squad other than bad editing and it revolving around Enchantress so everything in the BOP trailer* looks good to me.

*Once I forget this is BOP ..I'll be saying this a lot.

Interesting comment from Ewan McGregor. I thought this was what the film was going for after reading some articles on it last August.

In my initial thoughts expressed a bit over a month ago, I was wondering if some references are getting edited out to not rub some the wrong way (after hearing it rumored all gay references are being removed in the film pertaining to Black Mask). The Viewer Anon updates a few weeks back didn't really totally quell this notion (in fact seemed to support it when read through response tweets).

The gay references I think perhaps are being taken out to avoid offending people who may not appreciate a gay character also having some of the villain traits the Black Mask is rumored to have.

Still, it sounds like the movie is getting through the post-production editing process maintaining it's vision more so than Suicide Squad so that's a plus.

I'm on the fence still about some other aspects pertaining to the creative direction behind this film but look forward to seeing what this film is about when it hits theaters.

Well no...we have seen the reactions.

So we have seen that the movie got a positive reaction from the test screenings.

Even those who themselves have been sceptical have conceded they’ve heard nothing but good things.

You must also believe in the WW 2 mixed test screenings the to, obviously.

One thing that sells me the movie currently, extremely, is Gail Simone fangirling about it and most recently about Meeting the cast at the nycc.
It makes me smile like hell and excited for the movie.

I think Margot is great in the role and is pretty much the sole reason I'll be seeing this. Well, her hyenas too.
