Bitcoins?

Can someone give me a rundown on Bitcoins? I've heard about them, and how they can buy stuff. What do you guys think about them?

They're not worth the risk. They've been compromised and devalued at least once already and only a few places actually take them. The concept behind them is sound but the execution and acceptance is lacking. Another few years and another new virtual currency might be a better investment.
