Things out of the ordinary that you felt no other kid had to do, but your parents made you do. My mom made me write book reports every summer when I wasn't in school. I read books on my own, but she was one of those, "keep your mind sharp" type of people. So anytime I read a book, I had to choose one to write a report on, and give it to her at the end of the summer.

After I took a shower my Mom would check and see if dried out shower (wiped dry with towel) and she'd yell at me to do it anytime I used the shower. I always thought that was odd.

Well a few actually, but I'm in counseling about most of them, so how about

My mum would get me to watch her soap operas when she went out and write down what happened to each character.

My mum would make me brush her hair.

My dad got me to spy on my older siblings to make sure the weren't misbehaving.

When I was real young my mom would make me copy Bible versus when I did something bad. Usually, the verse had something to do with whatever I did to get in trouble.

this thread makes me appreciate my normal parents.

my mother would throw shoes at us when we misbehaved. Then later, when we were out to play, she would get up, walk PAST the shoes, and call us in aaaaall the way from down the block to return and bring her the shoes because "You made me throw them, you have to pick them up."

My parents were musicians so they made me sing a different song every day and if I forgot the lyrics they'd hit me with my father's guitar. :(

No, jk. Nothing happened. Had a normal child hood and there were far from being musicians.

It's a clip from 'Mama Dearest.' Or at least I think that's the name of the movie.

My mom would give me a paperclip wire, and tell me to pick splinters out of her foot calluses with it.

Th-thank you, terry78. ...It actually feels good to finally talk about it :csad:

Eat liquid dish soap. Because washing our mouths out with solid bar soap was too easy to avoid the taste.

I always had to bury the bodies.....

My father told me that my mother wanted me dead when I was a baby...I think I was six or seven at the time.....lol...
