I would like to see Black Mask as a secondary villian like Scarecrow.

I'd like to see Talia as the main villian pulling Black Mask's strings.

I think it'd be great to see the evolution of Roman Sionis and how he becomes Black Mask, it'd be great to see him on screen.

I think also it'd be great to see Bruce Wayne, knowing that Roman hates Bruce when he becomes Black Mask, it'd be great to see Bruce Wayne take the crap from bad guys instead of Batman.

Sorry guys, i've never been a big fan of the Black Mask as a character and I think in the eyes of Nolan and the general movie going public, his scarred face would be too close to Two-Face.

Roman Sionis made himself a mask carved from his mother's coffin but the mask was burned onto his face and left him disfigured.
The Black Mask of today's Batman has a burned, skull like face!

IMO Black Mask is the 100% correct way to go for this next film.

I think it could work, but unlikely. Think of the direction of the movies. Batman came in and gave crime bosses something to fear. He does realize that some brave DA (a.k.a. Harvey Dent) could've done this, but ever since the streets are being cleaned up, now freaks are rising up to take a stand.

Using this, a modern crime boss may become this freak to show the transition: Black Mask. Okay, it may fit, but this is where I have my doubts. As a main villain, following in the footsteps of the Joker just isn't enough; wow, another unknown guy blowing stuff up. But as a secondary, he can be in the shadow of a bigger freak (this would be too close to Scarecrow, though).

So, in my opinion, I could care less about the third film. As much as I love these movies, I'm not going to dream about this or that. I'm going with the flow. Whatever the villain, whatever the story, however many is to be made.

So, in my opinion, I could care less about the third film. As much as I love these movies, I'm not going to dream about this or that. I'm going with the flow. Whatever the villain, whatever the story, however many is to be made.

I think Black Mask works for several reasons. First, he is an excellent representation of power abused and misused (which seeing the sonar machine might be a theme in the next movie). Second, he is someone who can target not only Batman but Bruce Wayne and his friends (especially Lucius, who so far has gotten away scott free with helping Batman, something that just doesn't seem right. There should be some costs.) through his corporate connections. And 3rd think he is one of the only villains who can up the ante even more after the Joker.

I am not envisaging Black Mask as just another crime boss who takes over the mob and blows things up. He should be someone who is ruthless about getting what he wants and is a thinker villain. He hurts individuals more so then Gotham, and does it to benefit of Janus Corp. He should literally be what could have happened to Bruce Wayne had he shot Joe Chill instead of training to become The Batman. No morals or ethics Someone who essentially feels sorry for themselves and thinks their bad wrap gives them the right to do what they want. His main goals should be to 1 up his father as a businessman (which he is terrible at, which is why he turned to crime), embarrass Bruce Wayne, put Wayne Enterprises out of business, and as the plot thickens destroy Batman and possibly Catwoman.

With Black Mask and another 1-2 villains, you could definitely have the theme of the freaks taking over still in play as well.

Black Mask would be great for two reasons:
1. Has ties with Catwoman in many of the comics, so thus having Catwoman come into the picture would make much mroe sense. Being that he starts his reign in the East End of Gotham where Catwoman resides.
2. Gives Bruce Wayne the Opportunity to use his Alter Ego Matches Malone. Which would be awesome to see, especially when the city is after Batman.

Black Mask does seem the best villian after the Joker since Two-Face is out. But it would be cool if he's the one that shows everyone their masks, like he wants to start a gang war to take over Gotham but also to show the people of Gotham taht the legitimate people are actually mobsters or corrupt. He also wants to get behind Batman's mask and is hunting for Reese who has scarpered from Gotham.

I'd love to see Black Mask as the main villain. At the moment I'm think Henry Cavill or Jonathon Rhys Meyers.
