*makes self at home*

Long live the Hype!

*looks at all the new sub forums, waves goodbye to social life*

I've been doing a victory dance since the news broke yesterday.

I feel a tear drop welling up inside me!!
this is like the greatest thing EVER!!
LONG LIVE MARVEL!! LONG LIVE THE HYPE!... excuse me! i am just so emotional right now!

Every time I look at that concept art I get more excited. It's a damn good looking costume. Can't wait to see it in Civil War.

So... Should we see the costume and it's inherent abilities only or should T'challa also have other weapons? Like Vibranium daggers or even some kind of projectile weapons that have Vibranium ammunition?

hmmm.. i kinda just dig him with claws! that &*looks NASTY on that concept art!( i mean i can take the projectile weaponry and other stuff or leave it!) really i prefer T'challa's real weapon to be his brilliant mind and coolness!
Coolness always is a good thing!:woot:

Well, I finally got this done, just in time for the new forum! It's just my idea of an "ideal" Black Panther film.

.
The story begins in Wakanda, where the events of previous films have
prompted King T'Chaka to open his nation to trade with the Western World for the first time in centuries. As part of the event, he also announces that his son, T'Challa will begin a series of studies abroad, on a tour of the world's greatest universities. Although initially reluctant to go, T'Challa agrees to the plan on advice from his elder brother Hunter, who secretly only wants him gone so that he (Hunter) can vie for his Father's favor. Meanwhile, the plans of T'Chaka are opposed by the White Gorilla Cult.

The day comes for T'Challa's departure. He bids farewell to friends and
family and departs for England with his guardian, the king's closest friend General S'Yan. Present is Ulysses Klaw, head of the world's largest mining corporation and in talks for acquiring access to Wakanda's vibranium reserves. Months later and terrorist acts by the White Gorilla Cult are becoming more frequent and violent, leading T'Chaka to question the deal with Klaw. T'Challa, meanwhile, is enjoying his studies abroad, though is disappointed in the West's technological inferiority. Socially, he is very popular, though his choice of friends is not approved by his over-protective guardian.

Back in Wakanda, the relationship between Klaw and T'Chaka seems
fine, but both parties are beginning to distrust each other. Through Hunter, the King learns his trusted advisor M'Baku is the leader of the White Gorilla Cult. However, this is too late, as the terrorists are already inside the palace. T'Chaka flees to the armory and dons the Black Panther armor. Turning to join the fight, he is confronted by Klaw, who reveals himself as the mastermind of the plot. The two fight and both are grievously injured, T'Chaka mortally. He uses his last ounce of strength to send a warning message to S'Yan.

In England, T'Challa sees on the news what has allegedly transpired: A
terrorist attack has left his father gravely injured and M'Baku has stepped in as king until he recovers. S'Yan knows this is a lie but allows T'Challa to believe it "for his own safety". Telling him they need to lie low, T'Challa picks Niagara Falls, a place he's always wanted to go, as his "hiding place".

The duo arrive in America, where they are greeted by their assigned escort/bodyguard: Agent Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye. Hawkeye is not exactly "enlightened" about foreign culture and is surprised when his "jungle prince" is far from the savage he was expecting. However, he and T'Challa quickly become friends, and they set off for Niagara where they meet the rest of the American team: Finesse and Stingray. T'Challa and Hawkeye party their way through the various clubs and casinos, much to the chagrin of S'Yan. At one of these clubs, T'Challa meets and falls in love with singer Monica Lynne.

However, the good times do not last. When a drunk Hawkeye starts a
fight that makes the news, T'Challa's location to the world, including Wakanda. Here we see Klaw, now in his cyborg form, and M'Baku torturing Hunter to find out information on a possible uprising. Alerted to T'Challa's appearance in Niagara, Hunter is released with orders to quell rebellious thoughts and Klaw contacts the Sons of the Serpent.

We arrive at the Serpents' New York branch where we meet their
leaders: the charismatic but sadistic Montague Hale and his second in command, the intelligent but cowardly Dan Dunn. Hale is easily persuaded by Klaw to task his followers with killing T'Challa in exchange for a large sum, ignoring Dunn's worries about the plan.

Meanwhile, T'Challa is chastised by S'Yan for both blowing their cover
and professing his love to a foreign girl. The angry prince runs off
into the night to meet with Monica, only to find her kidnapped by the Serpents. S'Yan insists they leave the city, but T'Challa refuses to leave until they find Monica. Monica herself wakes up at the Serpents' base. Hale gives orders to have her transported to Wakanda if anything goes wrong before heading out to personally oversee T'Challa's assassination.

S'Yan convinces Hawkeye to sedate T'Challa in order to get him to
safety. Before this can happen, however, the Serpents attack. A chase through the street results, during which both Montague, Finesse and seemingly Stingray are killed and the rest of the heroes captured. Dunn now finds himself in command of the Seroents. He brings the heroes to their houseboat base on the river, where plans are made to kill them and dump the bodies.
Meanwhile, Stingray is revealed to have survived, and makes his way to
the houseboat. During the ensuing fight, the houseboat is sent on a full-speed trip down the rapids and over the falls. Stingray saves Dunn from the water but Hawkeye intend to kill him for the death of Finesse. However, T'Challa intervenes, and questions Dunn, revealing the fate of his father and Monica. S'yen tries why he kept T'Chaka's death a secret, and urges T'Challa to stay away from Wakanda. However, the young prince refuses and, determined to save Monica and avenge his father, begins to plan with Hawkeye how to get into Klaw's palace.

In Wakanda, Monica arrives. However, before she can be delivered to
Klaw and M'Baku, the transport she is in is attacked by Hunter's rebels. She is taken to their camp, where she tells Hunter about T'Challa. Hunter, who now wears a makeshift Black Panther suit, explains his life and relationship with T'Challa, and grudgingly admits that the people of Wakanda do not trust him. Monica asserts that the only hope for a wide scale rebellion is T'Challa's return, but Hunter refuses to attempt to find him, insisting he can handle things himself.
Later the heroes, with help from Dunn, sneak into Wakanda at night.
S'Yan takes Stingray and leaves to find Hunter. T'Challa and Hawkeye follow Dunn to Klaw's tower.

S'Yan finds Hunter as the leaders of the Wakandan tribes convene to
plan their path for a possible rebellion. The leaders are about to leave when S'Yan enters and reveals T'Challa's plan, convincing them to go into battle for their prince. Hunter expresses anger to Hawkeye that the leaders refused to follow him. The next morning, the tribes begin to march on Klaw's compound.
Meanwhile, Dunn, Stingray, and T'Challa break into the compound
under the cover of the impending uprising. They sneak through security into the trophy room, where the Black Panther armor is on display. Klaw mocks M'Baku, as it is now apparent that his people have rejected him. The furious terrorist then dons his White Gorilla garb to personally lead his troops. Klaw then is alerted to T'Challa's presence in his trophy room. Planning to finish his plan himself, he fights and knocks out both Dunn and Stingray using his new cybernetics before coming face to face with T'Challa, now wearing his father's armor.

Outside, the fight is not going well. The Wakandan chiefs are beginning
to question where their prince is and what he is doing. Hunter begins to lose control over the army, but spots M'Baku. He and Hawkeye both head towards the warlord.

Klaw and T'Challa's fight goes on, until they reach the compounds
communication room. Briefly evading Klaw, T'Challa realizes the plight of his army, and manages to broadcast a rousing speech before being attacked again.
On the battlefield, the speech turns the tide, and the Wakandan forces
prevail. Hunter, realizing his brother is the true king, discards his Panther mask and faces down M'Baku. Hawkeye has a chance to beat the warlord himself, but allows Hunter to finish it, gaining him respect from the chiefs at last.
With the defeat of his forces, Klaw attempts to flee, but boasts that he
killed Monica. T'Challa lashes out in anger and falls into a last trap, which drops both he and Klaw down onto the battlefield. T'Challa almost kills Klaw, but stops when he sees Monica running to him. They embrace, and the battle is over.
At last, T'Challa is coronated amidst great celebration. Hunter is made
chief of Wakandan Security, S'yan becomes chief advisor to the king, and Dunn is allowed to stay safely in Wakandan until he can testify against the Serpents. T'Challa bids farewell to Hawkeye , as he and Stingray escort Klaw to prison. The two friends promise to meet again, before T'Challa heads out to his celebrating people, Monica at his side.

Post Credits Scene: Klaw wakes up in prison, surrounded by several past Marvel villains. He is approached by Justin Hammer (or Zemo, if he's been previously introduced and captured) who tells him: "Welcome to The Raft. Stick with me, and it'll be a short stay".

So... Should we see the costume and it's inherent abilities only or should T'challa also have other weapons? Like Vibranium daggers or even some kind of projectile weapons that have Vibranium ammunition?

Energy daggers all the way. The way the color changes to determine what level they are on is cool as hell.

The there's the vibranium boots that let him run along the sides of walls without making a sound. That would be awesome as hell to see on screen.

Yeah, the stealth tech side of things made of Vibranium could be a really interesting thing to have on film.

So which actress do you want as the female lead (who I assume is going to be Monica Lynne)?

And will they change Monica Lynne's background a bit? I read in the comics she was a singer.

This film gives more black women an opportunity to be in the MCU. We've had two, but one (Zoe Saldana) is a green alien. The other (Rosario Dawson) is a regular human (ie. In the Medical field, not a police officer or Federal agent or human with a special suit or weapon that gives them superhuman abilities).

Ive been waiting for this film ever since I started reading BP comics and when the MCU started. Marvel makes dreams come true. I nearly cried at work with excitement. Thank you Feige.:woot: I dont care we have to wait 3 years for it, the fact that it was confirmed and has a release date is all I could ever ask for.:)

It must help that BP is going to appear previous to his movie though

This hopefully will have a murder's row of black talent involved across the board. Panther's sister, the Queen Mother, his uncle, M'baku, Killmonger ect. There are a lot of important roles to fill.
