Should Priest be involve helping screen writing the movie?

I wish he were, but he said that he didn't know they were making a movie, and that he hasn't been consulted about it. Here's the link.

That doesn't mean that the movie can't be good, but I think that Priest got the character more than any other writer has in the history of Black Panther. There is a lot of time in between when they start filming T'Challa's debut, so maybe they'll call him up some time in between then.

Maybe related, maybe not: but LL Cool J tweeted that he's hyped about being in an upcoming Marvel movie. The Internets instantly assumed he was talking Luke Cage, but he followed up his tweet by reaffirming that he's talking about a movie, not a TV show.

Bearing in mind that "Marvel movie" =/= "Marvel Studios movie" (it could be an X-Men or Spider-verse movie), I started wondering about LL Cool J as Erik Killmonger. Thoughts?

This hopefully will have a murder's row of black talent involved across the board. Panther's sister, the Queen Mother, his uncle, M'baku, Killmonger ect. There are a lot of important roles to fill.

Hmm... Could DH be playing the Panther of the WWII era and we get a flash back of that with Steve in the 1940's? If he kept the mask on it wouldn't have to conflict with him being Korath in GOTG.

So, Hudlin tweets a photo of him with Hounsou, Halle Berry, and Joe Russo holding a copy of "Flags of Our Fathers" (Hudlin's story about WWII-era Cap teaming up with Azzari, the Panther of that era, and the grandfather of T'challa)?

Do you guys think this is Marvels most highly anticipated solo movie to date? I mean it's been many, many, many years in the making………….

And btw, one of the thing's i'm most interested in seeing is the advanced city of Wakanda. Can't wait to see some concept art, or set pics of this….

I think after all the money Marvel has made off of there other Movies, they finally have the finances to really give us something great with Wakanda's interior/exterior set pieces.
