This is where it stands now. I'm going to try and rewatch all of them before Infinity War.

The first six are the only ones I've watched more than once (and I own all of them, minus Panther of course), but they're all at least good/watchable. Marvel has pretty much mastered that. They're rarely great, but always good.

Black Panther makes my Top 10 thanks to Michael B. Jordan. He's the best Marvel villain to date (good luck Thanos). Black Panther/Chadwick Boseman on the other hand is one of the weaker heroes. I'm not sure if it was the writing or the great supporting cast, but he's the least interesting character in his own film.

It's a lot of fun, but it's not the "instant classic" I think a lot of critics are making this out to be (at least for me). That saying, I'm glad it exists and I hope it keeps destroying at the box office.

Also, even though I think Fruitvale and BP are overrated to a certain extent, I hope their cinematic partnership lasts for decades. They're the real deal.

That's all that matters to me. These three stand high above the rest.

If anything the movie needed less T'Chala which is somehow...wrong? Can Black Panther 2 be the story of Okoye, W'Kabi, and M'Baku going out and kicking ass? With some healthy doses of little sis being the "man in the chair"?

No because some people, like me, are fans of T'Challa and want to see his story continue.

I said 6-10, but that's probably harsher than I intend. The way I actually rank the movies is, there are the elite. Tip of the top tier, which consists of Winter Soldier, Avengers 1, and there's a few other movies that rise into it depending on my mood. Black Panther is not there. It *is* in the next category down, which is basically "great movie, not pinnacle". I call it 6-10 because with my categorization, it can't fit into 2-5 unless its the absolute best of the "great but not pinnacle" category, which it probably isn't.

This is mostly indicative of how consistently Marvel Studios produces awesome movies.

Imagine how hard it is going to be for a new film to break into the top 5 or top 3 in a decade or so!

IMO, it's tie for 2nd with Winter Soldier and only behind "The Avengers".

Kind of surprised there's more who feel its not a top 10 MCU film than the best MCU film. Especially being far and away the best reviewed MCU film.

Not saying that Best MCU film should be leading. Just surprised its last.

To be fair, 60% put BP in their top 5.

Not an easy accomplishment after 18 movies.

Dark World
Civil War
Age of Ultron
GOTG
Homecoming
First Avenger
Ant-Man

Iron Man 3 remains my least favorite but I still like it. I don't think Marvel has made a single bad film.
