Blade 4?

Hell yeah....Its Blade. I dont even consider Blade the series cannical, and I look at Blade Trinity as a side story. They need to go ahead and call the next movie Blade III.

 

I don't want a Blade 4. Blade was good, but I didn't think Blade II was better. Blade Trinity was bad enough that it killed what may have turned into an okay vampire trilogy. Let's not revisit this just because Snipes needs money.

 

I don't know. Blade: Trinity really killed the franchise. I mean, what do they make of Daystar? If vampires come back, does that mean that we had an entirely pointless film? Thank God they didn't make the alternate ending the official ending.

 

That the alternate ending was even scripted makes me wonder if Goyer lost his touch somewhere along the way with this character.

 

I wouldn't mind.

 

Goyer is a hit or miss. He either writes an amazing story, or he writes a god-awful one. That alternate ending, along with the alternate Nightstalkers ending (with the werewolf in the casino), and the whole Blade: Trinity was the latter.

 

I'd definitely be interested in another Blade. Even more if Guillermo Del Toro returned as well!

 

Blade: Trinity was garbage. I actually liked the idea of The Nighstalkers going in, but I wasnt fond of the casting or execution of the concept. Recast them and have them going after some threat other than vampires and Im cool.

 

Blade 4? They need to make a Blade 3 before they can do that.

 

I hope your source is good cause if there s an actor I want to see again it is Snipes! I Though his career was over after his tax invasion problems. Welcome back brother!

I really want a 4 I think the 1&2 was really good but the 3rd one was missed because of the 2 other friends. Not that they didn't play well but they should have focus more on Snipes and Dracula. As a suggestion for a 4 th movie they should stop doing cg fight sequence. I think this is ridiculous knowing that Snipes is a martial art.

But Snipes shouldn't do a comeback with blade 4 right away.We still have a bad memory of B3.If I was Snipes I would do something different first like black panther or a cop movie than come back with B4.

stick to what the original and second movies were about, glorified vampires and great gore and fights.

Even Snipes knows he owes it to the fans to finish this Blade character properly, not some lame ass teen fest that Goyer directed.

Sure, Snipes is getting old now, nearing 50, but hey! If Stallone can kick ass, so can Snipes.

Also, people tend to forget, Even though Trinity was garbage, it still made a healthy profit from theatres and on dvd.

Worse movies have had sequels to them, so another big screen Blade shouldn't be a problem.

And also, they need to release it at a proper time, not bloody December like they did last time for Trinity. What a stupid time to release a vampire flick, at Christmas of all times, god almighty, whoever thought of that should be hung,drawn and shot.

This time it should be Snipes alone, bring in some good choreographers,
and give an oriental flavor to it.

I've always though Blade should go to Japan or China and take on the ancient vampires and kick ass!

You can imagine it right now! Blade kicking ass on the streets of Tokyo,
bright neon lights and plenty of windows and glass being smashed, and plenty of hardcore violence and gore.

The Japanese love their anime style violence and gore, give Blade this setting and he will kick ass like never before!

There probably will be a Blade 4 with Snipes. New Line is gonna lose those rights before they can make another one anyways and then Marvel would probably jump on the chance to do that franchise with Snipes. They could make that film for 65-75 million with ease.

Just wait for New Line to lose the rights, then Snipes can put a deal together with Marvel himself.. get Guillermo Del Toro to come back and direct..

Much as I love the first two movies and don't mind the third, there is just no need for any more.

Snipes' Blade is one of the greatest ever movie superheroes. Let's just leave that as the legacy of the series.

 

Why? There's an awesome script and the series deserves a more fitting end. While I'm sure Snipes has a few screws loose the fact is HE IS BLADE. It's almost impossible to restart this as a film franchise without him since Snipes was bigger than the actual character. No other movie star has done that since Christopher Reeves really. I can see Tobey being replaced, Tom Jane, Hugh Jackman, etc...But because Blade was pretty much unknown Snipes owned him. There's an Apocalypse script in the books that Del Toro wanted to direct before Trinity came out.

 

Get Del Toro back to direct, and I'd pay to see that in a heartbeat.

It amazing how Goyer managed to so quickly destroy a franchise he had a good hand in building. Trinity was a great disservice to the character, and the Blade series, while better than Trinity, contradicted the film's continuity. If they did another Blade film, they shuould just move on like Trinity never happened.

 

Lots of people thought Batman And Robin killed the Batman movie franchise as well, yet look what happened.

All it takes is getting the right people involved.

 

Don't get me wrong, I've always thought the first Blade film was great. But I feel they should stop while it's early. People are usually least satisfied with a fourth film on the same character. There are a handful of franchises that have managed to avoid this. I don't see Blade being one of them.

 

If Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Rambo and Rocky can come back with new movies after people thought their franchises were dead.....so can Blade.

Just use that Apocalypse plot I was hearing about...and it would be awesome. It was basically...I am Legend...with Blade instead of Will Smith. I also think it was reapers and not regular Vamps.

 

Yeah, why should we, the fans accept a disgraceful movie like Blade trinity as a fitting end?

when we know full well that Snipes will do another, better movie and will make sure it doesn't suck like Trinity did.

That was all because of ass kissing intefering ***** who caused Trinity to be such a crap movie.

 

snipes got shafted, its time for those people who screwed him to pay!!

lets hope marvel gets the rights back and snipes can return to give us a superior movie!

 

If Marvel takes over with snipes back and a decent story/director I'm there. Also they should leave whistler dead this time an bring back the doctor lady from the first movie and some other characters from the blade comics.

 

The only problem is that it did, at the time. It took 8 years, and the decision to reboot the franchise to undo that. Like Advanced Dark said, Snipes is Blade. There probably won't, and shouldn't be a reboot of the Blade franchise. I hope we have another one, but the big question is how they will deal with the third film. Either the script must be SOLID as a rock, or that'll be one hell of a retcon.

If John McClane can come back on top with a fourth film, hopefully Blade can do the same.
