Blade 4?

if Snipes and Kristofferson are up for it, i'd LOVE to see a PROPER send off. Blade 1 kicked off the comic book craze and Blade 2 was a more than worthy follow up. Blade Trinity was a damned Sci Fi channel movie! they need to get David Fincher and make an epic ending to the Blade saga!

The only problem is that it did, at the time. It took 8 years, and the decision to reboot the franchise to undo that.

That's because Warner Brothers lost faith in the series and decided to drag ass on it. It has nothing to do with audience response. Batman and Robin was a horrible movie...Batman Begins was not.

If a new Blade movie generates positive buzz, people will respond, whether Blade 4 comes out eight years from now, or eight MONTHS from now.

I would definately want a Blade 4! The first 2 movies were the perfect action horror movies, then Blade Trinity came along and the only thing that came to my mind as the credits rolled was "This is how it ends!?" Seriously, the film was butchered by David Goyer, the script was ridiculous, and the Nightstalker characters were awful! Blade fans desereve a better final film to the franchise than that mess!

I can't really add anything to what's already been said here. I don't even consider Trinity a Blade film, at all. If they make a 4th, and it stars Snipes, i'll disregard Trinity just as many Bond fans disregard 'Never Say Never Again'.

Snipes is long overdue at returning to the big screen, and i'll be the first in line to see his return as Blade!

P.S. No re-boot. Snipes IS Blade.

stick to what the original and second movies were about, glorified vampires and great gore and fights.

Even Snipes knows he owes it to the fans to finish this Blade character properly, not some lame ass teen fest that Goyer directed.

Sure, Snipes is getting old now, nearing 50, but hey! If Stallone can kick ass, so can Snipes.

Also, people tend to forget, Even though Trinity was garbage, it still made a healthy profit from theatres and on dvd.

Worse movies have had sequels to them, so another big screen Blade shouldn't be a problem.

And also, they need to release it at a proper time, not bloody December like they did last time for Trinity. What a stupid time to release a vampire flick, at Christmas of all times, god almighty, whoever thought of that should be hung,drawn and shot.

This time it should be Snipes alone, bring in some good choreographers,
and give an oriental flavor to it.

I've always though Blade should go to Japan or China and take on the ancient vampires and kick ass!

You can imagine it right now! Blade kicking ass on the streets of Tokyo,
bright neon lights and plenty of windows and glass being smashed, and plenty of hardcore violence and gore.

The Japanese love their anime style violence and gore, give Blade this setting and he will kick ass like never before!

I agree with you on all the points you mention except the fact that they should release it in summer instead of the winter. I m tired to wait blockbuster movie only in the summer. There should be a market for other seasons. Actually I think blade4 should be set for Halloween.

Blade 1 opened in the summer;Blade 2 opened in Mach. I agree with the previous poster that December is a dumb time to open up a horror franchise based movie, which is what i've been say about AVP:R, but that's another topic.

What i don't understand is, out of all the 3 Blade movies, Trinity had the biggest budget, but looks the cheapest. What the hell did they spend all the money on? Plus there's barely any blood and gore in 3, compared to the other two.

Trinity was just a travesty.

Wow, if Blade 4 does get greenlite, then the disaster that was Trinity, could motive Snipes and Co to make this bigger and better than ever.

Well 'I am legend' did pretty well for Christmas time! Unless theres harry potter I don't see why they don't have blade4 on Halloween or mid November

I Think that Blade 4 should take some advices from the guys who did 'Underworld' it was low budget but not that commercial either and the story and fx were good.

What I like about the Blade series is that there is no overall arc like say the X-men or Spider-man movies. Each film stands well enough on their own and I like seeing different creative teams behind each one. It's like in comics when the artists and writers are switched. I enjoyed Norrington's Blade, I enjoyed Del Toro's Blade, and I thought Goyer's blade was passable filler. Now let's get another Del Toro style home run going here because I have not found a comic book movie that surpasses Blade 2 yet.

it s true that we didn't see him for a long long time so my idea may not be appropriate now but eventually in a B5 or in a reboot I hope they do. They could call it ''Blade Begins''

Other idea would be blade in the future with a ''blade runner'' kind of environnement. He is an older blade ( he is 50 anyways so its ok)and his biggess enemy is his own son building not an army but a country full of daywallkers.

I say he age like a vampire so that s why they re in a distant future.In my story the world would be upside down. Humans are the underdogs or the rebels. Most of the world population are daywallkers. the vampires(the pure race) wants his pride back so blade is caught in a 3 way fight: humans-vampires-daywallkers. Blade see no other way to stop his son (king of the daywallkers) by joining the humans and the vampire againts the daywallkers.

Thats the look he has in "Gallowaker", its supposed to be coming out this year, but no trailer is out for it.

Its a cool look actually, and would be perfect for a Blade 4 movie if there ever is one.
