This usual trailer noise annoys the crap out of me. What are they promoting - Battle Los Angeles?

Indeed, I hope to god the actual trailer uses music from the movie. Not this hype noise or an oldie again. This looks really actioney for a blade runner movie....but that might just be the teaser at work.

Ghost in the Shell was Paramount. Blade Runner 2049 is Warner Bros... at last here in the States.

It's actually Alcon Entertainment who are making it. This will be the most expensive independent movie ever. Over a $100m budget.

WB and Sony Pics have home and international distribution deals respectively on this movie.

Ah ok. Hopefully this is the same strategy of just throwing out 'action' footage and the trailer differs in pace, although the shots alone are incredible

Oh man... From just those few shots in those quick teasers are insanely good! I can't wait to watch this trailer on Monday!

People thought the original Blade Runner was going to be all action as well. Part of the reason why it didn't do great upon first release.

I bet this figure in white on the stage is Leto :P

I hear rumors he is a Replicant manufacturer like Tyrell was in the first movie.

Yeah, I bought the set when it came out. First time I have "owned" the film. Didn't buy it on DVD or VHS.

I own the 2007 Voight-Kampff case edition of the 5 Disc Blu-Ray. It had the Spinner, and a metal version of the origami unicorn in it. And a plastic version of the Voight-Kampff machine suitcase.

Trailer glimpses look good.

I also had it on VHS and the old crappy DVD set.

Yeah...it makes me feel old but I remember a bunch of us (I think you even) and C. Lee were talking about Blade Runner like crazy in the Battusi Lounge when we were all getting hyped for the TDK trailer 2. The Blade Runner 25th set came out like a week after the TDK Trailer 2 dropped. Great times. I remember all of us talking the theories and meanings -Joseph Campbell etc.

Now I just can't wait for a 4K version of the original.

Haha that blows me out of the water. Man I used to have the Blade Runner video game, that was actually an underrated classic. I think that was Westwood that game. I do have that 25th Anniversary edition of the score. Classic.

But great collection. I'm jealous.

Oh yeah, have you guys heard the live performance of one of Johan Johansson's tracks ("K's Horse") from the film that they did a few weeks back? It sounds pretty great imo.
