The male leads are already cast and I don't see Jake in this as I don't think it will be an ensemble movie. As for female lead maybe Amy or Emily.

I could see Emily do this since there is the Sicario connection, but I think she's doing Girl on the Train at about the same time this will tentatively be in production. Maybe Zoe Saldana in a more artsy role? Let's see what she is made of?

That's a great talent on this movie, can't wait for it, now the only thing I'm worried about is the soundtrack, will they ask Vangelis to come back and do the soundtrack, or will they go to a different composer and if they do, will the soundtrack be in the veins of the first movie, more synth based or going to a more orchestral approach.

I think even if they go with a different composer, they'll keep it in the vein of the first one. It's too important to that movie, and DV's such a big fan... If they did do something different, he'd have a very, very good reason.

Not did he work on the original film but he also is very active in the field. He just worked on The Force Awakens.

Denis does like to recycle cast and crew and a female lead hasn't been cast. The only other known female leads he's worked with is Amy Adams (SOYL) and Melissa Leo (Prisoners).
