Blade Runner Remake

It should have been Gotham in BB. :csad:

IMDB trivia:
Before the shooting began, Christopher Nolan invited the whole film crew to a private screening of Blade Runner (1982). After the film he said to the whole crew, "This is how we're going to make Batman."

Didn't you notice this?

Buildings, atmosphere, lightning... everything looked like in Blade Runner (except daytime in BB)

Yes you are right. After watching both films, there are definite similarities. I just think I would like to see the appearance of Gotham be a little more exaggerated.

Agreed, it would be intersting enough to see more new parts of Gotham.

I hope in TDK nolan will use not only BR as an example, but also Se7en. This movie had very dark and depressive vissual style.

That would be ideal. I'm encourage by the news of various new shooting locations.

Yeah, great news. If shooting starts in March (and it will be so), then WB will attach teaser-trailer to Harry Potter

No, but 2015 should look just like Back to the Future II. We're only 8 years away from the hoverboard, people.

And you bet you're ass companies that make crutches and such are waiting for that day since accident rate will soar to new heights.
Heck i should buy stock in those companies right now.

In 8 years i'd be a billionaire :oldrazz: :woot:

And you'd loose because the future is in hovercrutches.

Blade Runner is perfect, don't mess with a classic.

I wouldn't want to see anyone try to duplicate Blade Runner. But since Blade Runner is a very loose adaptation of the novel it was based on, someone could theoretically "remake" it as a totally different film by simply making their own adaptation of DADOES, using Blade Runner as a stylistic influence. Like some of the other posters here, I read DADOES shortly after the director's cut was released, and the whole time, I was thinking, "wouldn't this make for an awesome movie?"

Then again, PK Dick upon seeing an early screening of blade runner said "that's exactly how I wanted it to look"

^Yes, that's why I said "using Blade Runner as a stylistic influence..."
