Blade: The Series Renewed?

They show it four times a week. They got better ratings than any other crap on their channel and that's even including the fact they show it four times a week.

They also have a substantial female audience which is something they should LIKE.

We may not get to see the Reapers on the show anytime soon, but hopefully they can work some type of creatures besides just vampires into the show for next season. Would it be so uncommon for Blade not to have to deal with zombies at some point whether it be by Vampires creating a virus that could turn people into zombies or people become zombies by means of voodoo or other rituals. Blade never dealt with zombies in the movies but it is something new they could explore in the series. An even bigger stretch would be if they brought Frankenstein into the show.

It would be kind of dumb for them not to give the green light on a second season. Blade is better than 95% of the garbage Spike puts out. It's one of the very few decent shows they have.

This is exactly what I am feeling right now. This show brings in a lot more viewers then there other stuff. They really shouldn't continue to replay the episodes and tease people if they are not going to renew it.

Meh, that's because you haven't seen Goyer's take on them.

We've already seen Zombies anyway (see Blade 1 and the Pit)

Werewolves have also been stated to be just another offshoot of vampires.

Yeah, I would like to see werewolves brought into it and the return of those zombie vamps. Blade battles all supernatural creatures. He's in league with Dr. Strange and Ghost Rider for christ's sake so let's see him do it. They said the show would have more comic book influence so run with it.

I agree. Having different types of monsters/supernatural creatures would fit well IMHO, but the focus should always stay with Vampires.

Werewolves? Prehaps. But only for one or two eps along with Mark Spectre. And so long as it doesn't look like that riduculous werewolf featured in the Blade:Trinity deleted scene.

I would really like to see the werewolf by night in the show. Also was it just me or did anyone else see the guy who plays made make alot of funny faces during the fight in the season final he also crossed his eyes alot. Wish he would just keep wearing the sun glasses.

Considering we didn't see him actually ashed just burnt, i'd like to see Pearl, the record keeper return. In the Blade commentary, it was said that he's so fat he has to be brought small children to eat because he can't get up.
