Blade

^Yeah, yet X-men 1 gets the credit for it.

xmen were popular before the , blade not so much.

this is probably why people get it confused.

Here's a great compilation tribute to the trilogy a friend of mine put together a few years back. Even the moments taken from "Trinity" look great in this context.

I don't hate "Blade: Trinity" as much as others seem to. I just think it's a matter of poor execution. Because there really are a number of worthwhile ideas at work there, like outting Blade to the FBI, giving him human-rienforcements, Dracula. They just never end up going anywhere with any of it unfortunately.

I absolutely love the first film. The second is a worthy sequel. The third film does not exist.

With the exception of some of the scenes from part 3, this has to be some of best grounded fighting in cbms. I really don't get all that pumped watching anything other than Snyder's action these days. And unlike alot of films, these don't need sound effects to sell.

If only red skull wasn't such a physical let down...

man del toro or Norrington would have been a great fit for TMNT.

that video you posted has some of the best if not the best fight scenes in any comic book movie to date. The way blade moves is fantastic, some flashy yet grounded and badass moves. The whole fight in the club in B1 is just amazing specially when blade uppercuts a guy to the roof and then kicks a guy in the face and jams him against a flourescent buld and electrocutes him and all the acrobatic stuff he does in between. If only batman fought like that in the movies...

I only like the first two movies, the third was forgettable, at least for me.

It's all true.
If I hadn't seen blade in my recent youth, I would probably have enjoyed Nolan's action more. The club scene in TDK had laughing to be honest.

For anyone who was around during Blade's production, was there any hype?

Yeah it came out of nowhere.

Went in expecting just another action movie then the bloodrave hit me like a roundhouse kick to the face.

Good times.
