I searched on here several times and was shocked to not find the Swedish vampire insta-classic Let The Right One In listed anywhere. I know its "Superhero Hype", but come on, this is THE vampire movie IMO. Almost all other vampire movies are silly and childish when compared to this one. Think of it as the anti-Twilight.

Cloverfield director Matt Reeves is already remaking it, but saying it will be more closely based on the source material, ala Speilberg's upcoming Oldboy remake(sigh), but eventhough I felt it was a sin to not see the film mentioned until someone talks about the remake on here.

And honestly I think it's amazing that the film manages to dodge the two most popular cliches of vampire movies: 1. Where the vampires are gothed out Ambercrombie and Finch models, where the film is being aimed at young tweenage females 2. Where the vampires are just screaming ******s, like the 30 Days of Night movie.

Thoughts?

There's a thread already. Make a search on "ratte komma" and it will be easy to find. :)
