This guy seriously needs his own film. Live Action preferably. To be honest, I think it could be DC's Iron Man in terms of success for a film. It's got a lot of what the public would like. A regular kid/guy, suit of armor that can do all sorts of awesome stuff and a really big adventure with crazy action.

They cant even do Superman right and now they finally got around to do GL, and you re asking for a Blue Beetle movie?

If you have Blue Beetle, you have to get Booster Gold in there.

To clarify: my previous post whined about the fact that DC/WB are incompetent when it comes to adapting their comic books into movies. I'd personally love a Blue Beetle - Booster Gold movie, though i dont think it will ever happen as a live action movie. Hopefully as an animated one.

yea i dont know much on any of the blue beetles characters from the comics but he sounds like a cool character. I def would like to see him or booster gold get their shot at films in the near future. But yea i agree we probably wont see a film for either of the two characters happen soon. Though i could see blue beetle or booster gold maybe show up in smallville if/when they get 10th season ordered. Geoff johns in a new interview today stated he would love to do a booster gold episode for smallville if he was asked to do another episode.

I would LOVE to see some big time artists (comic artists as well as movie artists) design Blue Beetles costume.
Did anyone see the art of Watchmen, where several artists like Cassaday designed the characters as they thought they could look in the movie?
I would love to see artists like Hitch do his version of Blue Beetle's costume for the movie.

Need a blue and gold movie. Booster Gold has a hot shot superhero from the future who is sponsored by Kord Industries, and Kord eventually creates Blue Beetle.

Love to see John krasinski and Ryan McPartlin as Blue and Gold respectively.

I'd prefer James Roday as Gold

Yeah I think a duo movie would work alot better than 2 solo films

I prefer the duo scenario, unless you are doing the original Blue Beetle, pulp style.

well i think and bear with me i only know a little on any of the blue bettles he would be a fun character to do a movie. Though i think its more likely we could see a blue beetle short from dc soon, and then more guest spots on batman brave and the bold, or maybe even blue beetle or booster gold for a live action smallville guest spot.

I'd be totally fine with a duo film. there's enough room for Blue Bettle AND Booster Gold in one film. :) The two play off each other great.

It could be something fun that demonstrates the depth of characters that DC can have. I think DC needs a no-name hero that is low risk/high reward on screen. If he fails no one cares or remembers. If he succeeds, then we could get more characters like Booster Gold on screen.

That would be awesome!
John Krasinski=Blue Beetle/Ted Kord
Sean William Scott=Booster Gold

Blue Beetle's going to appear in most of the Brave and the Bold's this year and we're hoping to develop a live-action show. Fingers crossed!

If I can break it out of the vault, I'll bring it to SDCC. LIVE ACTION BLUE BEETLE!!

This is awesome.

And..

Ezra Miller for Blue Beetle. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3009232/

He is incredibly funny, talented and could definitely carry a TV series. Reminds me of a young Joseph Gordon Levitt.

But if its popular it could lead to a live action Blue Beetle movie I hope.

Wow. I'm really surprised. Geoff Johns doesn't mess around. I thought when he brought it up a few weeks ago, it would end up being an animated series, it never occured to me that they'd try a live action series. Intrigued.

Who knows?

If it were up to me, the series would focus on Jaime and the movie would be a teamup of all three Blue Beetles (showing the origins of Dan Garrett and Ted Kord).
