Blue Dragon 2!

isn't it like blowing your load before even having sex?

And Mistwalker having 3 other games (including or not including BD2?) shows that Mistwalker is a busy little bee! They're such a small company yet they have 7-8 games in development!

Anyway, I'm glad BD is a series now, I expect Lost Odyssey to be a series also.

Me too but I think both will be very awesome. I can't wait to see what Mistwalker's introduction to the game will be like, I'm hoping for an "epic" feel to it.

Anyway, a 50-60 hour game and one that takes the creator 38 hours to complete knowing where everything is without side quests - awesomeness!

I know, BD is going to be awesome. It's just the art style. I get more drawn into real life looking characters, then cartoony one's. I wan't both, but I think I'll be more immersed into LO.

Instead of doing Blue Dragon 2, they should first see how the first one sells, because Japan's probably going to hate it and there are very few "otaku" in America who would buy an Xbox.

I say they instead consider a new IP that maybe has realtime combat. :o

I believe all Blue Dragon system bundles have sold out and Microsoft is ordering more than expected - it's expected to sell well based on those pre-orders alone.

It's also number 3 in the Famitsu poll - a 360 first.

I guess since MS is just starting to get franchises with popularity potential, they should get them established before moving on to more Intellectual Properties. I suppose they already have enough (four +) to build a foundation on.

If they Final Fantasy Blue Dragon though... I won't approve.

What do you mean by "Final Fantasifying" Blue Dragon? I think I know but what would the game have to do in order for that to happen?

Even though these rpgs look amazing and I've been keeping my eyes on Blue Dragon ever since it came out, I don't think the japanese would even care. Despite all the efforts Microsoft is doing to attract them too.

all in all I really hope Blue Dragon can be comparable to Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross which came into my mind when I first heard of BD (guess its cause of toriyama ...meh)

Make about, like, twenty of them. :o

No, I'd rather have 20 amazing original games. Maybe ten. I suppose each good game deserves a sequel.

I see what you mean by "Final Fantasifying" Blue Dragon now. It's funny because "Final Fantasy" has "Final" in its name implying that there's only one too - I fear that Sakaguchi may try to Final Fantasify it a little bit, at least with Lost Odyssey, because he mentioned about naming Lost Odyssey with a name that could work with a series instead of having something that implies there's only one in its name.

Still, I don't think Sakaguchi will go too far with it - he's already created 3 original IPs just for the 360, 1 original IP for the DS and 2-3 more original IPs for either the Wii or even the 360 again.
